I love Kanken packs and thought this tote might be a nice addition to my wardrobe. I find it very awkward and frustrating to use. To me it combines functions of a purse and a backpack but does neither very well. It doesn't have a zipper pocket on the inside (just on the bag exterior) but plenty of room for things to get lost. It is just not for me and I found the marigold color attractive but showed spots of dirt or oil within the first week that don't come off - I work in an office and didn't take this tote on any hiking trips during that first week so I am mystified. I would not repurchase as I feel for the price point I'd much rather just have another Kanken! ... show more

I’m obsessed with this bag! It’s the perfect size to carry all of my usual purse stuff, as well as the book I’m reading, lunch, water bottle, and journal. I’ve only been using it in the tote bag form, but I love having the option of a backpack style if I wanted. The quality of the fabric is excellent and I love that you can move the straps to a backpack position. When I first opened the bag I though it was smaller than I was expecting but once I put it use, I found that I could still fit so much within it. Absolutely love it!
