I was really looking forward to getting this backpack because I have other Fjallraven products and love them. This backpack however, did not live up to my expectations for the brand. When I use it to carry my 15" laptop, I very quickly get soreness in my upper back because the weight doesn't distribute down very well. There are also very few pockets accessible when the bag is all closed up and when the metal clips are unhooked from the top flap, they fall and hit the group or they hang an extra foot from the backpack. The front pocket meant for smaller items is also in much need for some pen loops or a small side pocket for smaller items like usb drives and my apple pencil. I do like that the backpack can fit so much with it's 30L capacity and the water bottle pockets on this backpack are much nicer than they are on the Kanken. It is also very water resistant in keeping with other Fjallraven bags. Depending on how you use your backpack, this might work for you but I don't think it's for everyone. ... show more

I bought this backpack to go on a 2 week backpacking trip to France. It was my only luggage. I was able to fit all I wanted to bring in it: 4 shirts, 3 dresses, a pair of jeans, a hoodie, a pair of shorts, some flip flops, a smaller bag, and all my toiletries and accessories. It was a bit of a tight squeeze but everything fit. The bag is also awesome because you can adjust the straps and it doesnt seem so big anymore. I use it as a day to day bag and its great for that too. It has several pockets: The main compartment, a laptop sleeve, a kind of secret pocket in front of the main compartment, 2 water bottle pouches and finally a little pocket on the top. The little top pocket is perfect for a passport or cell phone but not a whole lot else. The two water bottle pouches are narrow but really deep, its so great that this bag has them because so many bags dont have a water bottle pouch and it really annoys me. The bag is also surprisingly comfortable even though the straps dont clip and arent super padded, somehow the shape of the bag keeps your back and shoulders comfortable. I got it in the dusk grey color and its more of a muted blue color but I love it. Its so hard to find a bag you can use for travel and daily use and this bag does it all!
