Real lambskin has natural grain, a leather scent, and softens with wear; faux feels stiff and plastic. Slight texture variations between jackets are a sign of authenticity, not a defect. Is this jacket warm enough for cold weather? It's a lightweight layering piece, not an insulated winter coat. Blocks wind well on its own in mild weather (45–65°F). For colder days, layer a hoodie or thermal underneath the smooth lining, making layering easy. Will the jacket color look exactly like the listing photos? We photograph every color under pro lighting for accuracy. Screen settings and natural leather grain may cause minor differences. Distressed finishes are intentionally uneven by design. I'll start off by saying a lot of leather jackets I've found for this price have been made of polyurethane and are cheap feeling. I had been researching jackets both in store and on this site for the best price containing actual leather as well as adequate lining. I found both in this product. I wish it had been available on prime to get it in 2 days, but this dark brown version was actually delivered within 5 days of my ordering it. As far as the fit, I am 5'11" and weigh around 230lb and the extra large was the proper size. I wish there had been a "large and a half" size because the shoulders are a bit wide, but everything else is great. I was especially excited to know this jacket is adjustable in the waist and on the cuffs. I thinks it's due to way it's packaged, but this also has a fitted feel, i.e. the shoulders are formed. That's not a big issue for me because, as with all leather, I can beat it and wear it to break it in. Over all, I am actually surprised at how good the quality of the lambskin is. It even smells like properly treated leather, like the way new dress shoes smell. I would definitely order this again if I ever wanted the black version ... show more

I ordered the jacket and received it promptly. It looked just like in the pictures and fit me perfectly. I am 5'10'' and about 200 lbs with a 45-46'' chest. I wasn't too sure about the size but I took a chance on the XL and it fits perfectly. I put it on fresh out of the box and it was like I was tailor fit for it. I'm currently wearing it in. Crunching it up and sitting on it to give the jacket a well-worn look that a lot of more expensive coats have. I believe they call it a "distressed" look. I like to call it "broken in" and comfortable. Also, while doing this to this jacket the smell of leather is starting to radiate from the coat. I'm happy. Soon it will look like a $500 dollar coat not to mention actually making it more soft and supple. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the Jacket but it needed a worn look to it. It's a great value for the money spent. Fits well and is comfortable and soon will look like my London Fog Jacket. (With 10 years of wear on it) ... show more

I ordered a leather jacket. Delivery on time, fits really good, I like the quality. The surprise was when I tried it on there was something in the left pocket. After researching it, it turns out it's a vape pen. Somewhat puzzling.

It seemed rather thin that could be just how all lambskin leather is, but I am not sure. It did not have a very strong leather smell. This jacket was ok, but really tight in the arms so i had to return it. One thing i noticed is the leather is not as heavy and supple as a lambskin jacket i owned in the past and it seemed thinner and not well made.
