Got this antenna to replace a large conventional amplified deep fringe unit that was stuck by lightning. Had over $600.00 invested in that one. Was skeptical that such a small inexpensive antenna could replace it. It was easy to assemble and very lightweight...almost to the point of being fragile. Once I got it up on the tower and connected, I was surprised to find it actually worked nearly as well as our previous large unit. We're getting better reception on the closer channels, but one distant channel we got on the previous unit is hit or miss with this one. It's less than 100 miles away so I would question the claim of 200 mile reception. Overall I'm quite pleased. The down side is very fragile feeling construction. (lots of plastic) I would like to see this unit with more durable build quality/materials and would gladly pay more for such a unit. The wireless rotating function is nice but it moves the antenna too quickly for precise adjustment. Also, each time you push the single activating button on the remote the antenna reverses direction. Makes it difficult to fine tune. Should have two buttons, one for clockwise and one for counter clockwise rotation. The rotor/housing could be made out of a more durable material as well. Once again, I would gladly pay more for such a unit. Winter is coming on, we'll see how it holds up. May buy another just to have a spare.

Item came a day early and assembly was easy to do got it all Installed exactly as directed everything seems functional powers and rotates as it should but didnt get any channels when scanned and I only live 30 miles from spokane so no reason I shouldnt get good signal prior to this I had just a coax cable hooked up to my tv no antena on it just the cable and I was able to pick up 7 channels just from the cable so I figured this should work great to pull in more channels ..... Nope nithing just the same 7 channels I already had I gave moved it around trying to find a better spot checked and double checked my instal to be sure i didnt make a mistake everything looks great but doesnt get any extra channels at all totally bummed I will be returning and I guess still looking for a better model funny because I bought the 30 dollar one before and got 24 channels but it didnt last the winter this one is much more expensive and came highly recommend maybe I'll go back to to the cheaper model and find away to protect it during the winter

I'm getting beautiful clarity on stations 35 miles away, but zero reception for the ones that are 55-65 miles away. Those are the stations I really want, unfortunately. There are no additional mountains between the two areas. Autos I get a different antenna? I wonder if any of them deliver what they claim. Or would a booster help?

I live in Hillsville va, the antenna is great. I get Charlotte NC. Channel 3, 9, 18, 36 and 63 out of North Carolina. Channel 6, 7, 10, 24, 25, 34, and 40 on Virginia and west Virginia Weather affects some of the channels at times. Still worth the cost. Just few issues with rotator. ( Does work part of the time)
