These are a pretty solid compression sleeve. The material feels nice, it's soft and almost silky against my skin, and the compression is decently firm. I wouldn't describe them as "cooling," because I actually use them when the AC gets a little too cold and I want to cover up a bit without wearing an extra layer. I haven't used them in any real sporting activity, but they feel like they would be pretty good for sweat wicking. Fairly easy to get on and off, and easy to clean in with the regular laundry.
