Best Work Boots I’ve Ever Owned (Machinist Review)

Some of the best work boots I’ve ever worn. I work in a machine shop and on top of walking around on concrete all day.. I also am stepping on hot and sharp metal chips, oil and all kinds of different lubricants. These boots protect my feet from all of it. No slipping. No metal through my foot. But the best part about these boots is how good they feel on my feet. I’ve bought boots that cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars that don’t feel nearly as good as these Fitville boots do. I have very wide feet so the “X-Wide” size is PERFECT. They are breathable and lightweight and my feet don’t feel sweaty and smell like some boots have. I don’t have the same back and knee pain anymore now that I wear these boots. They are really just that comfortable. I have very arched feet and it’s hard to find any shoe or boot that doesn’t make my back and legs hurt by the end of the day. But these boots let me do my job and stand on my feet all day without pain. We have $150 boot vouchers every year at my job and I always just buy two pairs of these Fitville boots. They do wear down pretty fast but honestly in my trade even the most expensive boots do too. I’d bet at a job where you’re not walking on red hot sharp metal chips all day and stepping in oils that break down the soles I’m sure these boots would last a very long time. The price is just too good. A pair would last me a year easily but since I get the boot voucher I just buy two pairs and replace them every 6 months. Perfect. I honestly can’t say enough good things about these boots. Some people claim they’re too loose but as I said.. for someone with very large and wide feet they fit PERFECTLY. The ONLY con I can think of is the laces seem to wear down pretty fast. But this may be more about the conditions I work in and that fact that I’m working 6 days a week. I can usually get through the 6 months to a year still being able to tie my boots even if the laces start to wear down. And worse comes to worse I’ve just bought a new set of $3 boot laces. These are literally the best work boots I have ever used. The price is right. The quality is right.

Really good work boots. They are light and breathable and the wide boxed toe makes them comfortable for long work day wear if you are on your feet all day. They are not waterproof though so that's why there's only 4 stars.

Good shoes for the price!

Where do I start? I am very impressed. I was skeptical about the quality, and at first glance, they seemed like regular shoes and not wide-fitting, but I was dead wrong. I have never worn wide-fit shoes before because I didn't know they existed, and I have wide feet. I've lived my entire life dealing with aching pain wearing normal shoes, but after just putting these on 5 minutes ago, I can tell you I am never going back. ALSO! These are a lot lighter than most steel-toe shoes, I feel like I am on feathers. This is coming from a guy who's worn steel-toe since I was in the 3rd grade. I only have 2 small complaints, however, which will make you understand the price just a bit more. 1. The soles on these shoes are underwhelming, these are definitely shoes you shouldn't wear for outdoor work on hills, or mud or gravel, you will lose traction or your footing easily. Look for a better sole design if you can. These are still amazing! 2. The shoe lace could definitely be of better quality. I will use the current ones for now, but I would recommend changing them out if you work in a warehouse like I do, where nails or jagged wood can just tear these laces apart if you're not careful. Again, for the price, You get what you pay for, and the quality for price is a lot better than I expected, as I am sure you find with the other reviews. So if these shoes check all the boxes for you then just bite the bullet and join us! 10/10

Comfortable with lots of toe room

So far so good, toes feel great, not bunched up or pinched when crouching. I walk on concrete all day and they are pretty comfy. Im a bigger guy so ill be getting insoles but i also have planters feet

Great fit, but the interior isn't durable

These shoes are a great fit for my extra wide feet. And at half the weight of my steel toe boots. My only complaint is with the interior of the shoes. The fabric liner at the heel wore through in about 3 months and the plastic liner behind the fabric started breaking up and felt like little rocks in the shoe. I had to apply some duct tape to get the plastic to stop disintegrating into the shoe. While the entire outside of the shoes are in great shape, the interior was too fast to wear out and require repairs to continue wearing them.

Very uncomfortable

I had to return the boots because they are too uncomfortable. The bottom feels way too hard on my feet, and the arch support is too far back, so it digs into my heel rather than support my arch. They were extremely uncomfortable I didn't even want to wear them for even a minute. Maybe the arch support is in a better place for the smaller size boots, but for size 14 at least it was terrible. On top of all that, they are charging me $16 to return them.

This might be the first review I ever wrote. I put these on today and wow... they are like wearing sneakers. They are the first boot I have put on that has enough room in the toe box. My feet are wide and the 11.5 Wide I bought fit like it was made for me. The value for the money is outrageous they are 1/2 the price of the boots I bought last year. Oh and I did not get free stuff or paid in any way for this review. I just wanted to share this amazing boot with my fellow man.
