Please read this! it's not the wright bar for the plates . Bad match , the weight plates holes are 2 inches and the bar is really thin and plates won't stay in place .To be honest I don't have time to be returning this , I will keep it and try to sell the bar later on , and get a new bar that match the 2 inches hole of the weight plates. ... show more

During the pandemic, I began building a gym in my garage. While I accumulated lots of 1" plates, my only hollow bar made it hard to set-up circuits - so I bought two of these bars. I'm very pleased with this product. Quality is good, price was great, shipping was fast and efficient. My son is putting heavy weights on. No problem. I separately bought clamps, but he doesn't use them- as a safety to be able to shift bar sideways and slide off weights if he gets stuck without spotter
