I was expecting something inexpensive and functional. What I got was a piece of furniture that is beautiful, extremely sturdy, and surprisingly heavy. I was really surprised at how heavy the box was, but once the shelf is put together it's easy to move. Assembly was very easy requiring no tools. It was not even painful for my arthritic hands. Construction is all metal and tempered glass. This thing won't be knocked over and is very protective of my stereo system. From top to bottom shelf mine holds a turntable, CD changer, receiver, and dual cassette deck. Highly recommended for anyone with a component stereo system.

This is a 4 shelf unit, however my installation required a 12 inch clearance over a power supply that could not go on a shelf due to weight and dimensions. There was enough height with the adjustable feet to combine two of the shelves together and give me the necessary clearance because the rods go all the way from the base to the top with the dividing sections being composed of metal tubes and plastic caps. Although it wasn't an absolutely perfect fit because the caps are meant to fit into the holes in the glass shelves in a specific direction for support and rigidity I find that overall the stand is stable and provides enough space for a turntable on top and some components underneath. The stand also goes well with an adjacent TV stand that's smoked glass and metal as well.

Not bad. Looks sharp. Great price. The shelves are clear glass which has been pained black on the underside so that they look like colored glass. That paint can scratch, but it should be easy to fix. The side posts are black painted metal. I wish they looked like metal-- they actually look like plastic due to the finish. It snaps together quite easily. It came packed very securely. (In fact, getting it out of the box takes as long as putting it together). The only plastic on the unit are some invisible seals that align the posts with the shelves. These are rigid and a bit loose. The only thing that would stop me from giving it five stars is that the seals allow the side posts to drift very slightly, so that I can tell that it's four sections rather than one single post.

I ran out of space in the cabinet that my LG OLED stands on. This rack was the perfect size for my components, and it looks fantastic. It's a sturdy glass and aluminum construction and the basic black color matches my home theater components nicely. It's plenty wide and has two 9" high rack spaces in addition to a third smaller one that should fit most reasonably priced components. Very heavy amplifiers (> 75lbs) are not recommended for this rack. It's sturdy but won't safely hold hundreds of pounds of very high-end gear.

Arrived early! Really nice unit. Looks expensive. Tube spacers are aluminum not plastic like some others. Super simple to assemble. Only used Vice Grips to tighten threaded rod in center of each leg. I put swiveling casters on instead of the included threaded feet. The included threaded feet can be adjusted if your floor is not level. The casters I used are M8X25 with 1.5" locking wheels. I am very impressed with the stand. Easy to assemble and heavy when all together. The spacing of the shelves is perfect. I also found it to have deeper shelves than some other stands. The picture that has the center channel speaker on it (the left stand) is one of the sub-@0 dollar stands with press wood shelves and plastic tunes for the legs. I was originally going to go with it as you see pictured, however, it is part of a room remodel at the house and the contracts between the fit and finish, build quality and room (space and number of shelves) makes it a easy decision to buy a second stand. It arrives later this week. The stand has adjustable feet in the event that you need to compensate for an uneven floor. With the "feet" screwed all the way in it sits perfectly level on the carpet and I tested it out on a concrete slab as well. Personally I prefer the look of the black legs and support tubes over the chrome versions that are offered. I do like the top shelf having the brushed aluminum top caps in the glass. Tastefully done. There is a logo on the top shelf. (see picture) that I decided to place in the back. While it is not too large in size I did not like the look of it when positioned in the front. I would buy again and am considering the same maker for a replacement for the living room TV stand and audio stand. John
