I chose this one for the versatility- you can use a wired remote, wireless remote or a butterfly on the handle. I haven’t tried the wired remote, but the handle and wireless worked great. I first used it to pull a few boxes up into the attic and it was slow but effortless, the main reason I got it was to pull an old car out of the garage and then back into the garage. This is where it shines especially with the wireless remote - yes it is slow but it makes the job simple- just walking along side of the car with the window opens you can steer the vehicle exactly where you need it to go even pulling it back in up an incline was easy. People complaining about the noise- it isn’t quiet- but not so loud that you need hearing protection Overall- I was happy with the purchase (My wife was even happier because she didnt have to help)

It performs as advertised, but be aware, it ain't fast. If you have patience, it'll work for you. I would have to recommend that you go ahead and bone up the extra $$ for the remote control.

Great winch. I've used it twice a day for the last 5 months for lifting my horses soaked hay out of water buckets. I've had no issues with it and still doing a great job.

For the price, I wasn’t expecting the best of the best, but something decent that would at least finish the job. Unfortunately, the thing stopped working within the first 10 minutes of use. While I didn’t expect it to work at its supposed total rating, I figured it would be able to pull some yard waste across the lawn. However, it struggled pulling a few branches. The housing feels cheap, the buttons feels sloppy, there’s a 1-2 second delay from when a button is released and the motor stops. The motor is really loud and has a grinding noise. The included wireless remote is a nice idea, unfortunately, the remote uses an obscure battery type, that’s not even included. It would have been great if the remote used a AAA battery instead. I would avoid this particular one and look for something else, even if it costs a bit more.
