Wench works great and has ability to add a lower limit switch in addition to the installed upper limit switch. I contacted the manufacture for how to install the lower limit switch. When you open the electronics box you will see a 6 pin connector with screw contacts. Pin 2 has a green wire and a red wire. The red wire is a jumper from pin 2 to pin 3. Pin 3 has the red jumper and a black wire. To add a lower limit switch, cut the red jumper wire and connect the 2 wires from your lower limit switch to pins 2 and 3 in place of the red jumper wire.

I only used for 60lbs and it worked fine not motor seemed stressed with that load. The red stop disc is too small and slips through the stop switch sometimes which is dangerous.

Stay as far away as you can from this product. It's poorly built and a major danger factor. I bought the 1700 lb. Hoist to pick up a 700 lb slab of stone to put against a fireplace. Fortunately, I tested the hoist outside of my shop before I took it to my client's house. The hoist itself picked up the slab fairly easy. The major flaw in this design is that they use very, very thin pins for the metal rope guide. I had a gut feeling about this product so I decided to give it a few runs up and down anywhere from 5 ft to 10 ft up in the air. And sure enough, one of the metal pin snapped and the guide that holds the metal rope in place came down along with a 700 lb slab of quartz. So not only did I lose $1,000 on the quartz but it also damaged my slab lifter which is another $1,000 and I lost $1,000 worth of Labor. Save yourself the time and I even involved my attorney because we were all standing fairly close to the slab and that could have literally killed someone. 700 lb crashing down on you is no joke. They need to take this product off the marketplace and anything else that manufactur makes.
