  • VERSA 3 GOOD MEDIUM BUDGET WATCH
Have had this watch about 3 months or so. I dont have premium but its great for tracking exercise and even on a bicycle you can go to your phone app and see the map. If you shopping around do get one with GPS on board - you will wish you had if you dont. The VERSA 3 does have GPS. I also like that I can use Alexa with it and a huge selection of clock faces avail both Free and for purchase. Battery is suppose to last about 7 days but depends on the clock face if you have it ON all the time. Do note that if you plan to use GPS any value below 25% battery charge the GPS disables, so keep it charge before you good long bike or walk work out. I do miss the DASHBOARD on the web (only included with Premium subscription). It was pretty detailed. You do get a 3 month free Premium trial so depending on your needs you can continue the Premium if you like. First smart watch ever and was kinda not by choice but I do exercies more now and glad I have to watch to keep track of different exercies measure time, distance, calories, heart rate - etc. UPDATE MAY 2024: Watch would not connect to phone. Did a reset and watch never booted up again. Only lasted 1 year and about 2 months. Settled for a Amazfit Band 7 watch since it cost less nd FITBIT is no more or has transferred over to Google FIT app. - thus the Amazfit Band 7 watch. ... show more

  • Another failed fitbit less than 3 months later
I purchased a brand new Fitbit Versa 3 from Amazon on January 5, 2024, with high hopes, but have been left thoroughly disappointed as the device ceased functioning entirely by March 10, 2024. Initially, the watch was stuck on the Home Screen, and no amount of swiping would change the display. Attempting a hard reset only led to the device being stuck on the logo screen, and it soon became a cycle of flashing between the logo and Home Screen, accompanied by constant vibrations every 1-2 minutes until the battery drained completely. Despite my efforts to recharge it, the watch no longer powers on or accepts a charge. I've exhausted all troubleshooting methods available - I've tried using different chargers, wall ports, power banks, and cables to no avail. It's frustrating that this isn't the first Fitbit device I've owned that has malfunctioned within months of purchase. At this point, I'm not seeking any more troubleshooting advice; what I need is a straightforward solution - a replacement or a refund. The device is clearly defective and, considering it's only been two months since purchase, this level of performance is unacceptable. My experience strongly discourages me from recommending the Fitbit Versa 3 to anyone looking for a reliable smartwatch. ... show more

  • 'Upgraded' Versa 3 to a Versa 3
My old Versa 3's screen popped off so I glued it and I gave it to my husband. It was no longer considered water resistant. I originally upgraded to the Versa 4 but then realized music was not an option so I returned and got another Versa 3. I use mine predominantly for lap swimming. It seems pretty accurate. It also seems like a common complaint that it would be nice for the watch to visually keep track of laps but when your workout is complete, you can check it on your phone. So...don't lose track of your laps. The GPS is nice. I leave my phone in the car while at the gym and it still records my data while I swim in the pool. More research that I did..Bluetooth doesn't work in the water so if you want to play tunes while swimming laps, you'll have to purchase a waterproof device that offers that. ... show more

  • Awesome features PLUS lots of extras but it's not easy to cycle through them.
Not intuitive, a little hard to move through screens but great features. The button also hard to activate consistently. It randomly starts recording an activity when I am not exercising? Some instructions would help but the features arr exactly what I want and then some. Guess I'll spend time on YouTube learning how the watch functions. ... show more

  • Nice watch -- good replacement for Versa 2
I had to update my Fitbit Versa 2 after getting some great service out of it, and after researching, the Versa 3 was the best update for me. I don't use a lot of the features yet, but I do like what I see and am using so far. I have some cardio issues, so the heartrate feature is a must for me. My eyesight has diminished some, but I can see the face well and read the settings, and it looks like a cool watch. I hope I get the years service out of it that I did my Versa 2. The seller had it to me in short order, and the packaging and shipping time was great. Thanks for my new watch! ... show more

  • Won’t charge
After 2 months it stopped charging. Called their customer service and basically it was a scam. Wanted to send coupons and all kind of things. Wanted my birthday, credit card information and really personal information. Do not recommend . Never got to the Fitbit. Update, don’t call the number listed here. Google Fitbit customer service to get the correct number or even chat. Very helpful and friendly. Solved my problem. Was a bad charger. Sending me a new one immediately. Otherwise a great watch! ... show more

  • Meh
I had the Versa 2. An unfortunate accident caused it's early demise so I upgraded (or so I thought) to the 3. I've had some issues. SWIPE UP (daily stats): Screen is black. The data is there until it's just not. It doesn't correct itself. Full system shut down and restart are needed to get it back. I do it several times a week. BATTERY AT 40% OR BELOW: If I am at a lower battery level I may as well only wear this to collect step counts and floors. I took a 3 mile moderate/difficult hike, I walk fast. My watch at 38%. I climbed 18 floors (multiple back to back inclines) and it logged 2 active minutes out of a 45 min hike. What?!? I did a 45 min kickboxing workout that I do at least once a week. Typically for 50% of this workout I am in my peak heart rate range. Watch was at 40% battery. I logged 2 mins in peak. Impossible. I literally do not stop moving for more than 15 seconds between rounds. Needless to say it's not accurately capturing my heart rate when the battery is on the lower end of charged Super irritating because I never had to worry about inaccuracies with my Versa 2 or the multiple other Fitbits I've owned over the years. As far as the other features, I don't know, seems fine. I don't use it for texts/calls or really anything other than the alarms and to capture my workouts/sleep. ... show more
