had problem with low pressure removed hoses and pressure relief valve that came with unit and replaced them with new hoses, T fitting and relief valve from plumbing store. Now pressure and flow are back.

This little water heater is great whether you have a main water heater tank or not. If you only have cold water available (like in a shop or detached garage, out at the campsite, or in your trailer/RV), just hook this up, plug it in, and you're ready to go. You could also add this into your home for a sink that takes forever to get hot water -- but you must have electricity available (kitchen sinks usually have an outlet beneath the sink, but bathrooms don't). The original heat-up time doesn't take too long, and then it always keeps the water at the temperature you set. You will need to provide your own hoses to hook this up between the supply line and the faucet (and a T-fitting so you still have cold water at the faucet as well, unless you ONLY want hot water), but it's pretty straight-forward. It's nice that it includes a little drain tube so you can route any water from the overpressure/backflow valve exactly where you want it (other brands just have the water dribble out, down the side, and onto the floor). You can place the heater on the floor, or mount it on the wall with the included bracket. The heater gets plenty hot; you almost certainly won't need it turned up all the way. At 2.5 gallons, it's not a huge amount of water stored up, but that also means that it doesn't take up too much space, and it's usually more than enough hot water for a good, long hand washing or for washing some dishes. Unless you're filling up the sink all the way or doing long tasks, this should serve you well. If you think you'll be using hot water for longer stints, I suggest you select a model with a larger tank. A good way to get hot water where you don't have it. ... show more
