They cut, they have round tips; therefore, these scissors are what I wanted. I took one star off for the huge problem getting them to open. I could not budge them when I first tried to open these scissors. I thought that I might break them. It was as if they were glued together. I ran the scissors under very hot water twice in five minutes. Nope. Still didn’t open. While I was on “hold” with Amazon for a refund, I ran them under very hot water AGAIN. They opened.
