it’s not bad. It works. Sometimes it’s not the product. They advertise it to be. Two of them fell apart on me after I caught fish. Just broke. It seems like anytime you try to put pressure on those things or try to hold them. They crack they start falling apart after they’ve been in the water for a while. I gave you one star but I’ll give you a zero because I lost three fish on these things and they broke so they’re no longer in my tacklebox. I go fishing twice a week. If it’s a good product I’ll keep it. If it’s not. I’m gonna write you about it and I have. I’ll give you a zero. I only did one so I could forward this to Amazon.

I don't have the time to sit around and build my own, so I bought a pack of these and used for catfishing. The quality is very good and it was so much easier to rig this up instead of building my own. I will definitely purchase this again.

I fish locally for catfish and wanted to give this a go. Surely I was able to pull a few in. Hook and rig held up well and no noticeable wear after catching 3 fish on the same rig. Would definitely buy again. What I caught wasn’t anything over 10 pounds but I doubt these rigs will have any issue booking up bigger catfish

I did have a missing bolt which resulted in having to pick one up at my local Home Depot. The instructions are not very thorough so I was fortunate to find a helpful video on YouTube on this same smith machine. Just type in “DONOW Smith Machine assembly” and it’ll pull up a pretty helpful video.
