    • Solid but the knob really needs an upgrade

Works very well and easy to program; however, there is a knob directly under where the food comes out of. It traps fish food on it. I used painters tape over it and it helped quite a bit.

This little guy is so slick! I set it up 2 days ahead of leaving for my trip! It can mount or sit on top anchored down with a really good sticker pad. You can preprogram the times to feed or manually feed your fish when home. It is the greatest find!

Seems to work just fine. I had to decide where to put it on my 40 gallon tank. At first I thought I would just lift the front lid, so I put it there. When it was feeding time, fish were splashing water out of the tank, so I repositioned it by cutting a slot in the back part of the tank, opposite the filter and was able to keep the tank lid closed. ... show more

Why did they ruin a very good feeder by mounting it on a cheap plastic mount? There is no way to secure it to the tank. By the end of the first month, I was trying to hold it together with superglue, and even that couldn't keep the plastic from breaking. It happened to both feeders I foolishly bought.
