  • Perfect for a Razer BlackWidow TE Chroma
Color: Transparent
My Blackwidow was a bit loud, and I discovered that these O-rings are a fairly cost-effective way to quiet the keyboard without replacing it with some supposedly-quieter one or something much more expensive. It...mostly worked. It turns out that much of the noise for the BlackWidow actually comes from the upstroke, not the downstroke, and probably how I type is also a factor, but the keyboard is still much quieter than it was. I'll count it as a win. =) I like that this also comes with the tool to remove keycaps--it worked great and didn't damage my keys. There are more than enough 0-rings for a full keyboard, neverming a numpad-less one like the BlackWidow TE, so I'm not worried about what to do if I need to replace any of them. After a few months of use now of 2hours a day, though, they're still holding up without issues. Definitely recommended! ... show more

  • Not totally silent, but makes a noticeable difference
Color: Transparent
I have a keyboard with Cherry brown switches which I wished to use at work in an office environment. The o-rings made a noticeable difference in the amount of noise when I bottom out they keys, but it turns out that a large part of the noise I was hearing was actually the clack when the key sprang back up, not when I hit the bottom of the stroke. These o-rings only help with the latter and not the former, so while it did what I wanted in terms of reducing the noise enough that I won't get dirty looks from my co-workers, it did not make my keyboard completely silent. The keycap puller worked perfectly as well. No complaints. ... show more

  • Nothing wrong with them
Color: Transparent
These are pretty thin. Put them on my Cherry mx blue CoolerMaster keyboard, I had to double them up to get a noticeable difference. Same experience with my Outemu blue based Redragon keyboards. One was not enough for me, but 2 was OK. I wanted to eliminate (or at least diminish) the "tock" sound the keys make when bottoming out, and I could not hear or feel much difference with just a single o-ring per key. With 2 of these per key there was a definite difference, but then that effectively doubles the cost. BTW 2 of these seem more effective then a single 0.4mm o-rings. ... show more

  • Easy to apply, dampening pretty good for Cherry Browns
Color: Transparent
Very easy to apply. The thickness of the rings is enough that you may notice a slight lowering of travel distance but it's very marginal. I originally purchased these for damping the sound of my keys and applied them on two different keyboard switches: Cherry Browns and Gateron Reds. They worked very well for the Cherry Browns in terms of damping, I was very happy with them. The damping was less noticeable on the Gateron Reds, likely due to the fact that Gateron Reds are linear as opposed to tactile switches. ... show more

  • Nice reduction in sound and travel.
Color: Transparent
One ring is enough to greatly reduce the sound of a key bottoming out. In fact, I think they're now louder on their way back up! Two rings doesn't sound any different to me. One ring slightly reduces the travel, but two got me where I wanted. This could be a pro for those who want to reduce the sound but not affect travel much. If you goal is to greatly reduce travel, you may want to go with 0.4mm rings instead (to cut down on cost and time spent adding rings). ... show more

  • Enough rings to put 3 on each key
Color: Transparent
I have a keyboard with OUTEMU brown switches, that when bottoming out would cause a reverbation. These stopped the sound without stopping the tactile click of the switch actuating.
