These stated that they were for the freezer, when I told them that my food was getting freezer burnt. They said you are to use bags or vacuum sealed bags with them. I bought them because I wanted to cut cost down not add to the cost. A very big thumbs down!!!! Don't waste your money! They weren't very concerned about my concerns. This product really needs better marketing representation and description detail. I worked hard to not immediately disqualify their use for my intended purpose. I found these to not satisfy my intended use because: 1) While the sides seem to have enough structural substance for stacking and to hold their shape for lid applications, the bottom lacks enough rigidity to lay flat within that perimeter structure. You could use the word flimsy, but I will describe it as rippled enough to result in items sliding into each other due to humps and valleys. 2) While the containers seem to loose their plastic smell when left open, they go back to smelling of plastic once left closed for item storage. This item is what it is, and I would not buy it again because it's cost does not balance its value to me. I would not buy any other items from this vendor as well because the shattering of my assumed value in the product purchase will now taint all other similar product offerings. Bottom line: the buyer has to buy to find out exactly what it is. I gave the item a 2 out of 5 because the buyer is forced to read and analyze a zillion buyer reviews to formulate an opinion on if the product would work for an intended purpose, and even then, those reviews proved to be useless. ... show more
