These are excellent replacements for my original batteries that have come to the end of their life. Out of four only one had any power left and they are at least 10 years old. Thought that name brand batteries should last longer but can't complain. These give an extra amp/hr of power which is really nice and the price is great. Look like good quality, as per instructions charged fully before use, have been using them in my Dewalt light and screw gun with no issues, haven’t had them go low yet to recharge, but a whole lot cheaper than actual Dewalt batteries, extremely fast shipping and very good price, at this point would purchase again! ... show more

I love my small 12 volt DeWalts, they have really taken a beating and still work great. Shocking how much replacement batteries cost though, huh? These are, near as I can tell really 4 amp batteries. Let me put it this way, I ran my car starter motor with them. Yes, the 6 awg wires caught fire, and yeah it was exciting, but the battery didn't heat up, and it was just starting to lose power as the fire broke out. I tried to use a fat resistor, but that nearly set tge bench on fire. After clamping the resistor to a big piece of aluminum as a heat sink, the battery voltage refused to drop and I popped the resistor. DeWalt wants $50 for one 1200mAh battery, I got 2 4000mAh batteries, for half that. Excellent value! In actual use and not shenanigans, I have yet to run one down.. ... show more

    • Great batteries for the price
I have multiple Mac/Dewalt 12v tools. I was starting to think that they just weren't doing the job anymore. Then I realized that maybe my Batteries were just old and worn out. I ordered these because they were cheap enough to test my theory. Well I am completely blown away, these new batteries run my tool way better than the original ones. They are stronger and hold a charge longer. Time will tell how long then last but for the price even of they only last a year or two they are definitely worth the cheap price tag. So far so good however batteries DO NOT have a charge level indicator. UPDATE: I was really pleased & surprised that this company contacted me & offered to “make things right” (which they did!) because of the above issue reference no “battery charge indicator”.
