I purchased this pump back in Feb of 2021. I purchased it with one job in mind. Transferring 75W-90 gear oil into the transaxle of our motorhome. I recently fitted it to a repurposed propane bottle, and attempted to transfer gear oil. It didn't work as planned. I originally thought this was a malfunction of the tool. Turns out...it's a malfunction of the user. The device has a Venturi system built-in. It has a selector where you choose to extract (vacuum) or dispense ( positive pressure)... The limitation is...it is designed for thin non-corrosive liquids being dispensed from a drum. As a safety feature...positive pressure is never 100%...a restriction causes the pressure to be positive...but still allows air to bypass during dispense operations. The sellers customer support team did a phenomenal job of helping me. The tool is a very nice kit... ... show more

I have a waste oil burner in my shop. I needed something to move the oil from drums. I tried everything over two years. I came across this product and figured it was worth a shot. I’m on year two and this pump works flawlessly. Warm or cold I move oil. It’s pumped roughly close to 1000 gallons and still going like the day I opened the box. The pump works at a steady pace but if you are using it for used motor oil it is very slow. I haven't used it for any other fluids. It may work better with fluids that have a lower viscosity.

We dumped 4 Gallons of 50W Syn Tranny fluid into a Fiver< @ $50 a gallon - you really don't want to spill. Cut the plastic spout out. Dropped in the pump. Dialed the pressure low at first. Tested. Ran the pressure near Max. Valve at hose end stopped progression of oil. We are ready. Crawl under Truck- insert valve into side of Manual tranny. Open the gate. Oh my, this is NICE!!!!!!!!!! ... show more
