Unfortunately within a month and a half (of course after the 30 day window to return) starting getting the "3 chirps" every minute which meant it had malfunctioned and says to replace alarm. Can't replace it, so have to eat the full cost of it $42.95. Yes, tried different brands of batteries, used compressed air (for computers) so I know that didn't damage it further. This one is the combo smoke and CO alarm, had purchased a regular smoke alarm, which I received two days after this one, both First Alert and absolutely no issues. First Alert makes good products, guess I was just luck enough to get a not so good one :( ... show more
