Worked great. I used one of these extension cords to power a microwave that just a little too far from the outlet on our counter. Needed a short extension cord. This cord is molded (the pvc insulating covering) well. The plug's metal components (called tines) line up straight and are the proper thickness. Finally, the cord is marked with both the UL and CSA safety logos giving me assurances of its safety when used correctly.

As an engineer, my assessment is that this 3-prong extension cord will serve well for many years to come. I needed a heavy-duty white extension cord for a towel warmer in my bathroom, but I needed something 3-ft or shorter. The color of this one matches the cord of the towel warmer perfectly.
