I live with wood heat only, and 1 of the daily chores in winter is to bring a days load of wood into the house. I had my old wood carrier for 15 yrs, and often wished it was a little more "this" or a little more "that" So I took my time looking for a new one after literally wearing my old one out. This one is 2X's the size of my old one, wich means half the trips back and forth for me ! It is a little heavier to carry, but it has nice oversized handles that are easy to grip, and don't slice into your hands. It's a nice, heavily waxed canvas so water just runs right off it and it stays dry. (wich COUNTS when you set it down on the living room rug to unload ! ) Over all I really appreciate the thought and quality that went into this wood sling.

My special needs daughter saw a similar one on a tv commercial and had to have one. The other site wanted 3x the amount. Hello Amazon. She couldn't wait to use it! She's small, 4'6"& 130lbs. She runs outside and carries in no less than 6 logs like it was 3! The bag is well made, sturdy & holds at least 6 logs, more if your normal size lol. She enjoys bringing in the firewood & makes it look easy using this bag. Now I'm sure if either myself or husband used it we'd enjoy it as much as her but she guards it with her life and we can't get near it! If it makes a young girl this excited to use it can you imagine how excited anyone else would be to use it?! It's a great find and I'd buy it again and again.

This log carrier has worked very well. Used it for a month and highly recommend it to anyone needing a log carrier. Rugged, well made. And, the bonus ax holder is a great addition. This allows for a safe way to carry the ax and firewood, giving a person a free hand to open doors, etc.
