I thought it would be heavier but it’s really light also creating the passcode is a little confusing to and it works with batteries the pink paint is chipping off a little but it works, I use it without the batteries and pin I just use the keys because it’s easier and faster

NEVER order from this company my safe keys were lost and the batteries died, and all this company could say was buy a replacement key but they don't even sale replacement keys making reaching out to them completely pointless !

I find that this Small Safe Box really is a nice little safe. It is easy to operate, and it is easy to program the PIN number (password). The safe needs four "AA" batteries (not included) for the keyboard to operate. The batteries are internally mounted. There is a red reset button located in the battery box, use this to easily change the PIN number. The PIN can be 3 to 8 digits long, nice. The safe comes with two emergency keys to open the door; these are useful if the batteries have lost their power and need to be replaced. There are three LED lights (Red, Yellow, and Green) located over the keyboard, they let you know when batteries are running low, when the password numbers are wrong, and when the password is correct. The safe is nicely painted, and it comes with two bolts to attach the safe to a wall or a concrete floor. The safe has two pre-drilled holes for mounting, two in the rear and two in its floor. The walls of the safe are a little bit thicker than the walls of a regular strong box. The manufacturer says this safe is "Fireproof" but I doubt it has any more resistance to fire than a regular strong box. Overall, I think this safe is a nice little strong box that provides easy access to anyone who has the correct PIN number. The safe has many uses, like in a dorm room, in an apartment shared by friends, in an office where the employees collect money to celebrate birthdays, or in a garage that needs to store keys overnight, etc. This safe will help keep honest people honest. But keep in mind, any safe can be cracked open . . . all it takes is opportunity, time, and the right tools. I like this little safe and I recommend it for you. ... show more

When the package first arrived I could hear something knocking around in the safe so I was thinking somethinf was broken but it was just the screws necessary to attach it to the surface you set it on. Easy to use and set up. You'll need batteries when using the keypad but it does comes with 2 keys for backup. It's nice and sturdy, and the color is exactly as shown. ... show more

    • teeny safe but nice for a dorm room
This safe is smaller than I thought it would be. I wanted it for my kid to lock up valuables in the dorm room and it serves that purpose. I recommend using rechargeable batteries for the pin pad but the keys work just as well. The description says fireproof but I seriously doubt that.
