I didn’t even know these “self-leveling” and multi-dimensional, multi-axis laser levels were a consumer “thing”… The last time I attempted to use a laser level was for picture hanging, and it emitted such a weak, dim beam of red light that I resorted to a traditional 4ft. level to finish the job… things have obviously changed. This device doesn’t even require precise leveling with the onboard bubble level to project a bright, 360 degree, 3-axis, straight, and level beam from across the room. The instructions included with this level could use some improvement. I still don’t actually know what the small, green magnetized measuring plate is used for, and there’s no mention of it in the instructions — guess I’ll be consulting Youtube in the near future :) — (2) charged batteries were included with the kit, and they seem to hold a charge despite leaving the device on for ~20m. The inclusion of a dedicated USB power block and cable was an unexpected surprise, too. This will be indispensable as we begin to install our kitchen backsplash, but this thing can be used in sooo many other ways given the magnetic base (or threaded mount for a tripod) and support for coarse or fine position adjustment (via base dial). There’s also mention in the manual of a pulse mode for long-distance leveling (with the aid of receiver not included or mentioned anywhere else in the manual), but that’s probably beyond my needs. This is still a fantastic product for the average home DIY consumer, and it’s worth keeping in your toolbox for weekend projects!

This has been a great help. The level is super easy to use and set up and it is definitely self leveling. So far I've been able to use it just set up on something but I tried it out on a tripod and it worked well that way too. The laser is bright and easy to see even in well lit areas. Super happy with this.

I like that this laser level comes with 2 batteries, that means that I know I won’t run out of power when working. It takes some time to familiarize yourself with this level, but it is time well spent. The IP54 rating is good for working in a construction zone, since you don’t have to worry about dust and the occasional water spray. The lasers are easy to see, even in regular lighting. I think this will definitely be an upgrade for anyone who likes to DIY.

This laser level is a beast! It is larger than other laser levelers I own but it is indicative of its performance. The larger size I imagine allow for stronger and brighter lasers … even in the low setting the laser is bright enough to see on my ceiling right above my dining table light. It has a slide type power switch that locks the internal levelers once turned off. I like this feature in laser levelers as it protects the leveling mechanism for longer life. It comes with two large batteries that provide ample life. Easily charged with any USB-C cable. One is included in the package. Carrying bag is also included but a blow molded case would have been better. The batteries have a button that allow you to check battery life at 33% increments. (Three power bars) The mounting platform has magnets, small tripod and large tripod inserts, as well as screw or nail mounting. It also has the ability for a remote which is sold separately. At just above $100 this Firecore laser leveler is an excellent buy.

Pretty much everything you could ask for in a budget laser level. Quality durable construction, 2x USB-C rechargeable batteries, 3 lasers that are protected against dust and light water, rubber protective caps on each laser, and a solid feeling base with fine adjustments. The receiver/target plate is probably the weakest part of this kit, it doesn't so a very good job reflecting the laser. Not a big deal, as this laser actually works with other green laser receivers. I tested the accuracy with a known highly accurate Sola level, this laser is very close to perfect. Well within acceptable accuracy tolerance. Operation is straightforward. There's a large sliding main switch to turn on/off, a button to cycle through which lasers are active, and a brightness adjustment button. This kit even includes a USB charger and USB-C cable. Everything you need is in the box. Excellent value, you can't go wrong with this one.

I've had several high-dollar laser levels over the years....DeWalt, Milwaukee, you name it. This one is just as good if not better than all the rest I have owned. It seeks level in a second and maintains that line even after being bumped or moved. Multiple axis gives you a wide variety of options. Trim, flooring, windows, doors, framing, roofing...whatever. The laser is very very bright and the green color is easy to detect even on very bright days. Also being able to select which axis you want to work with is a great option. Mounts to a number of tripods for easy height adjustments. Two batteries give you a lot of quick-charging run time for the day. Comes with laser target and carry case. Seems very rugged, but I wouldn't recommend throwing it around too much. Treat your tools right, they'll treat you right.

I have no complaints about this laser level. It is my first, so I can't speak right now to all the technical details that a more experienced person might have, but from my home-handyman perspective, the lines seem super level, and it's really easy to use. One of the batteries on mine came with the button sticker not completely seated properly, which caused it to get stuck and not actually seat properly into the level. However, I just trimmed it up with a sharp knife, got it seated properly, and now it's all good to go, fits great. The laser lines are super bright and easy to spot, which is also very nice. Overall, I'm very happy to add this to my tool arsenal, and look forward to using it on many projects in the future.
