I like that it has a gap there for the tailbone, because I have tailbone sensitivity. The fabric is okay. It has a zipper to unzip the seat cover and wash. I haven't washed it yet but I'm sure I have to wash it with an all natural detergent. And the cushion inside, I don't really know yet what to clean it with. The cushion is not for sitting for long periods of time. I sat on it for a twenty minutes, waiting patiently at health clinic, and the cushion is not much of cushion afterwards because squishes down, but when I get up and off the seat cushion, the firmness, soft cushion comes back. I don't feel any tailbone sensitivity when I sit on it. But I can feel that if I were to sit for a long time without taking breaks from the cushion, that it could cause a discomfort, so basically twenty minutes is fine until I work my way into healing thoroughly, from my tailbone sensitivity. I was thinking a lot before purchasing this item and I am, a okay with the seat cushion. It's not perfect but it does help, I don't have to stand up while waiting, and it also helps when I need to sit down on a chair, because without the seat cushion, my tailbone sensitivity would start up again. It works for me, it's an, A Okay Cushion. Try it for your self, but sitting on it for a long time is not recommended, depending on your tailbone sensitivity. If it was just a little bit firmer near the back area near the gap area, to me it would be more of a cushion support for the behind part. For the price of the seat cushion, it's a okay. Was looking for a cushion to feel like im sitting on a pillow after sitting at work for 8-16 hr shifts. Its smaller than the office chair it does feel soft but for me after 6 hrs my butt was hurting. Quality is great!

Only bad thing is that the length of the cushion stops midway along the thigh so that it doesn't cover the entire seat. This created a bit of pressure at that point of my legs. But it was better than being sore on a 10 drive on a hard sport car seat.
