This paper cutter is the perfect size, not extremely big but not too small. You have to attach the hand piece for the blade but it's super easy and comes with a little screwdriver. Very sturdy and the blade is SHARP. Color is too cute!

I have been wanting a guillotine paper cutter for a while now and this one is a great cutter. Cuts multiple sheets of papers at once. The price is worth this cutter. It’s sturdy and easy to put the handle on and use.

Assembly required! I would not have bought this had I known. I can't seem to get the screw loose that it's calling for. There's one screw at the base of the cutter that has to be unscrewed. I don't have the strength in my hand to do it. I'm going to see if my son can put it together. There's the grip on the blade that has to be put on with a couple of screws too. I would not have bought this had I known. It might be a great cutter but I need something that's already completely put together. I don't want to assemble something. I'll update this review if I keep it. Well I was trying to take the screw out of the wrong place. I'll try to see if I can't put it together. Apparently there's a video on it.

When I received this item, it was apparently an open box/return. It was missing some hardware and original miscellaneous items. Customer support immediately rectified the issue without cost to me and was very apologetic for the trouble. The item functions well. I use this for scanning product manuals and other binding stapled paper work but cutting the spine off. During testing, it was able to (unintentionally) go through several staples without damage to the cutter and without using much force. Once the minimal assembly is complete, the cutter is very sturdy. It has survived around 100 4-12 page cuts so far and remains sharp enough to cut without fraying the paper. I am very happy with the cutter and can definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a compact little work horse.
