I actually love this case EXCEPT that it only has two slots to prop the iPad up at an angle, neither of which holds the iPad quite as erect as I would like. I would prefer that there be three slots to prop the iPad up, one of which would make it almost straight vertical. The rotation of the iPad is excellent and the slot that holds the iPen tight against the iPad so it can remain charged is excellent and when the case is closed that iPen slot is covered completely so the iPen won't fall out. Overall this is a great rotating iPad case but that lack of an almost vertical anchoring slot is why I give it only 4 stars instead of 5. ... show more

This item replaced my old cover which was getting pretty floppy. I don’t think that will be a problem with this. While this cover is still lightweight it feels quite sturdy, it isn’t at all clunky or bulky. The design, while not totally “my style” is still very pleasing. I like the ease of opening the case. It’s a smooth and swift operation to get it into the desired position. The stylus slot makes a great grasping point to open and close. The cutouts allow easy access to volume buttons and the on/off button. With the auto-off feature when closing the case, I almost never use that button, though. On finding that the keyboard case I bought for my new 12.9 inch iPad made it very heavy, I decided to try a non-keyboard case for use around the house. This one fits the bill nicely. It is inexpensive, it's sturdy, it has a place for the pen, and I love the swivel so that it can be used portrait or landscape. I love how sturdy it is. The spin feature works great in both positions. There is a plastic piece on the top that you grab to open the case. I like the configuration of this iPad case. It has two built-in ridges for propping up for reading or setting on a desk for viewing videos, etc. I love it that I was able to choose not only a color, but my favorite painting as the cover (Van Gogh’s Almond Blossoms).
