My biggest complaint about the Remarkable tablet has been their lack of attention to transporting the tablet anywhere. This little do-hicky is something they need to incorporate in their product line (along with a case made for using the tablet outdoors in rough weather, but that's a story for a different review should that product come along.) This is a pretty basic little stylus holder. The black vinyl material goes well with my black leather remarkable case. The band is simply a strap of elastic. An upgrade would be to add something that would attach the strap to a remarkable case so that you don't have to pull the whole thing off to open the remarkable. But it works. The top of the stylus holder closes easily. But an upgrade would be to make it more than a top cover and encase the whole thing. That would ensure detritus from my travel bag won't get down into the stylus holder. As it is, that could easily happen. The stylus sleeve is sufficiently deep that you don't have to push the stylus all the way into the holder, which might damage the tip or press on the eraser end improperly. Time will tell if that will happen anyway. And the sleeve is tight enough to hold the stylus in place so it doesn't move around, but it isn't hard to get the stylus into the sleeve. After I submit this review, I'm telling the people who have purchased a Remarkable on my recommendation that they need this too. Would buy again. ... show more

Not a fault of the product, but I didn't consider that if the pen holder is in place, I cannot close the lid back as I had previously done. So I have changed my workflow a bit. That said, I am no longer losing the stylus on a regular basis.

This product works as intended and holds the original Remarkable pen well. I actually store an aftermarket pen in this which is shorter than the original, but it holds that well also. The pens hold securely, and the strap on back stretches perfectly around the paper tablet. I've only been using this for a couple of weeks, so long term durability is yet to be determined. If I had any gripes, it would be the flap that goes over the pen. I feel like the overall design on that could be improved, but it does hold. ... show more
