You cannot beat the price, I bought this for my new 2020 MacBook Pro because best buy was out of stock of their Incase clear MacBook cases which was 40 dollars. Im so glad they were and I ended up getting this one instead, when you take out of the package it was crystal clear, beautiful pretty sturdy piece of plastic. it come with instructions for how to install, pop into place pretty easy for the most part. Although the top piece was a bit harder to place on I had to use more force to pop the top piece into place, and when I did I think I might have scratched a teeny tiny piece of corner so heads up for that when installing. It could also have to do with how I was installing, I was lying down in bed with little light, so my own fault. Also I will note that it is a type of plastic that hair loves to stick on and is kinda stubborn to remove, and smudges show a bit. I personally don't care about it thought because I'm gonna add stickers to it. OVERALL worth the price, good quality for only 13 bucks would 100% recommend with the side not of being easy when installing/ use of force. Will update with how it holds up in the next couple of months. !

When it came in the mail I thought that half of it was gonna be shipped separately like the packaging was so thin I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Installing it was easy as soon as you hear the click then you know its secure, the top half took me longer only because I had to perfectly place it or else one edge was gonna be sticking out. Like all the other reviews the bottom back of my laptop is exposed but I've never harshly placed my laptop on any surface so I think I'll live. If you really like your MacBooks original color then I highly recommend getting the crystal clear case because it is super see through and adds a glossy, slick look to your computer. It's a good case and all but it definitely wouldn't protect it if it fell on the ground from a distance of your waist to the floor. I think this case was meant to prevent the common scratches and nicks that could damage your laptop.

I bought the composition book case. It looks great! It tricked a few people thinking it’s an actual composition book. The case installs seamlessly onto the MacBook. The material feels like cheap plastic and feels flimsy but the case protects the MacBook from getting scratched up. I believe this case isn’t strong enough to survive a drop. It definitely added some weight to it. One major drawback to me is the bottom panel hinges that clips onto the MacBook Pro is kinda blocking the airflow. (You can see this on the second picture) The rubber feet of the bottom panel is very grippy. Overall, this product isn’t too bad.

I bought and installed this laptop cover six months ago. Unfortunately I dropped my laptop a few times recently. This hard shell case protected my laptop when I was sure I had damaged my laptop!! Only damage was a chipped/cracked plastic cover! Better than my laptop being ruined! I looked and looked for something more "snazzy" to buy for my next cover and then went back to this one. It is simple, classic, and fits perfectly. It also looks great and most importantly -- DOES THE JOB!

Update: I’m an idiot and didn’t properly clip the bottom half of the case in place. It takes a bit more pressure than I was expecting. Having realized this, I upgraded my review. For the price, this is a great case. Original review: I like the color and texture of this case, but the purpose of purchasing this was to make it easier to grab my Macbook out of my work bag- and the bottom piece keeps slipping off... So, it looks nice, but isn't actually staying on. I guess you get what you pay for.
