The Finnhomy 5 tier wire shelving unit arrived securely package. Immediately upon opening I could see it was very high quality (unlike some other items that come from China). Easy to assemble following instructions CAREFULLY. Instructions even address the slight gap when snapping the 2 plastic halves together. YOU DO NOT NEED TO FORCEABLY SQUEEZE THEM TO CLOSE THE SLIGHT GAP. When you slide shelf down onto them they will close together the needed amount to make the shelf snug. The unit fit perfectly in our tight utility closet and we are EXTREMELY happy with the over all product, and would highly recommend this particular Amazon product! ... show more

Packaging was average at best and shipping didn't help. Parts seemed well packaged; however, one of the shelves arrived bent (pictured) from being squished in the box. The shelving unit itself is average. It went together very easily, no tools required, and is adjustable for all sorts of needs. The wire shelving is thin gauge and flexes some under load. I think the pound rating per shelf is really overrated. Usage: I bought this to house a 3D printer and (2) AMS racks. For this, it works fine. The 18" x 18" footprint is tiny and makes the printing hobby organized and consolidated. For that, this rack is great. I will be adding some plywood to each shelf to help evenly spread the weight of the parts. ... show more

A hint to those who also like to re-design the wheel -- the little round protective dividers between packed shelves make perfect end caps for vacant hole in vertical supports. This storage shelf exceeds all my expectations. It came together quickly and all shelves and hardware arrived in perfect condition. The leveling feet were an added plus, as it stands between two different surfaces. The transition between our kitchen tile and our hardwood was not an issue at all. Of course, I know we will change the distance between the shelves as we go along. My goal was to use the shelves for holding the pots, pans and some oversized utensils that I use every day. Now I don’t have to pull those pots out of any lower kitchen cabinets. Everything I need is at hand. What a pleasure that is! I would love to have one extra shelf and the hardware to go with it. I haven’t contacted the manufacturer to see if they sell additional shelves for this unit. The chrome is beautiful and smooth and fits in with our kitchen surroundings nicely.
