I was told that it sounded like the call was breaking up. Could be because of my location at the time. Other than that; it was super easy to install and use. I placed it behind my steering wheel where it is barely noticeable.

    • Tape isn’t very sticky
Microphone sound quality seems pretty good. My main issue is the pre installed tape isn’t very sticky. It’s marked 3M but it fell off the freshly cleaned surface pretty quickly after being installed. The weather was nice so I doubt that had anything to do with it. I repositioned it on a flat surface for now and will try a different adhesive I guess ... show more

Microphone comes with a holder and double stick tape. This allows you to remove the microphone if needed. The sound quality is exceptional in my application, which is a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Jeeps are notorious for not being quiet. I was able to hear my wife talk as she drove on a highway, and the noise from the turn signal was barely noticeable. The microphone that was replaced picked up all ambient noise but would not allow voice to come through clearly. I recommend this microphone. ... show more

    • Terrible sound quality.
Cord length is excellent, yet no matter where it’s placed unless I am yelling it won’t pick up my voice, and even with that I’ve been told it cuts out and is distorted. Works great if you just want to have a microphone to have one but not one to use.

Very easy install but all mics are easy to install. The sound quality is like a low budget walkie talkie. I called a few people to test it before mounting so I can find the best placement in the car.
