  • Tailscale browser based app is smoothest, fingerbot integrated into self hosted app menu
Performed as expected, integrated into glkvm Accessories menu. I used Tailscale app bound to my Tailscale account on Windows 7 (09-30-2025) to go to systray, pick the Network devices, My Devices, glkvm - IP copied to clipboard, pasted that into Chrome and Firefox, the glkvm app works the same on both. Accessories menu, Fingerbot, Press. Comes with a hand twist platform clamp and 3M glue pad to position the fignerbot digit over the button to press and it just works. ... show more

  • simple and works
Simple and effective. I’ve used it a couple of times when I had one of my mini servers not reboot after a power loss.

  • Simply doesn't work
Followed the instructions exactly, installing the dongle in the USB port of the GL-RM1 KVM. The KVM properly detects the presence of the accessory, enabling a Fingerbot section in the Accessories tab, but clicking on "Press" invariably results in a "Press Failed" message, even if the "bot" is right next to the KVM/dongle (I tried at varying distances from 0-6 feet). The test button on the "bot" itself works fine, extending the arm to both positions and back on successive presses as it should, so it's not a battery issue. It simply doesn't work. ... show more

  • Good button presser
Works great! It has a CR2 battery so it should last a while with low use and it feels solid enough for the motor and gears to continue working for a long time. It would be nice if I could hard-wire its power through USB though. It is a bit bulky and needs to be close to the button so it may be difficult to place it in a way that doesn’t obstruct the button if you need to continue to be able to manually press it. The finger doesn’t have an external way to activate it without removing the top or using the web. The internally wired option is more ideal, but since that circuit board is so large, this option was compact enough for my need. ... show more

  • Using the Fingerbot for (CMOS) works with ATX for (power)
Instead of using it for power. I'm using the fingerbot to clear the CMOS when needed. I got my PSU connected to my UPS through a WYZE smart outlet plug. So I can totally kill the power supply and reset the CMOS. The ATX is wired up for the power to the PC. I'll let you in on a secret That WYZE smart outlet plug is awesome but it ain't a KVM. If you set your computer to power state 0. Or set it to reboot after a power loss then there you go you got you a remote reboot right there and it works great. I actually use it on some of my mini PCs that are connected to other KVMs. ... show more

  • I feel like a kid in a candy store lol
The media could not be loaded. This thing is great, you can even customize it to where it can long press instead of just pressing as well. This plugged straight into the comet kvm that they sell as well and both work really well. My only gripe is that I wish they did not use battery, they had a plug-in version so I can always have power. Otherwise amazing. ... show more

  • Works well, very convenient, easy to set up and use
I've been testing my unit for a few weeks now. It automatically connected to my comet with no configuration required and I have not had a single failure to cycle when signaled from the interface. I had watched several video reviews but had not seen the clamp that is included - super useful. Seems to be a sturdy unit though I haven't spent any time drop testing it. ... show more
