The canopy is everything I expected -- more sturdy than average for this type of structure. It has only been up for a month, so I cannot say much about durability at this time. I did site my canopy in an area with low UV and wind exposure. If you are used to putting together Ikea furniture, that is to say assembling things using a series of line drawings, the instructions are easy. We enjoyed the "click together" construction, where the tubular parts both overlap AND click into place. It seemed a little bit wobbly at full height, but instead of cross-bracing it with extra ties, we adjusted the height downward. It turns out that the advertised height is the USABLE height (after the canopy, with its 6" drop, is installed)! Very happy with its rigidity once the guylines were set up. Our only glitch was in package tracking, but customer service (Betty) was very responsive. This product comes in 2 boxes with 2 tracking numbers -- Amazon attaches 1 tracking number to an ordered item. When only one of my boxes arrived... eek! I reached out through the Amazon contact tool and the prompt reply included both tracking numbers. I was able to track the second box, which came two days after the first one. All parts were included-- Betty followed up to ask-- and everything fit together well. ... show more

I've had this carport set up as a permanent shelter for my car and golf cart for nearly a year, and it's held up very well. The metal structure is still sound, but the heat and strong winds here in south Texas have caused wear and tear on the guy lines and bungie cords which I've replaced more than once. I'll soon need to replace the cover because it's also starting to wear, so I contacted the seller through Amazon's messaging service and Milka with Brandline customer service responded right away. I was able to purchase the right replacement cover, and when it arrived I found they had included new guy lines, bungie straps and stakes at no extra charge. Their customer service exceeded my expectations, and I am happy with the overall quality and sturdiness of the carport. ... show more

Everything arrived I begun to put together but the buttons won't fit in the drills holes , not one came in two shipments . The darn holes gotta all be drilled larger . I like the extra cross bars but it made up on no ground bar going across the bottom of the legs . Seems excellent quality study poles just gotta drill a lot of dams holes ! As of now out of ten I'd give it a 7 weak 7 cause the holes I tried a bunch thier all to small , quality control is no good ... show more

Installed this product a couple of weeks ago. Replaced a much cheaper product that collapsed after a snowstorm (even thought I have relased the sides of the cover.) This product has much better materials that previous, competing products and assembled easily. I had trouble following the assembly manual diagram but the pictures added to the Amazon site showing the assembly addressed that issue. Have not had long enough to speak to durability but the material quality (both the frame and the cover) are good. Feel that the additional frame bracing and the design of the cover were worth the additional money over the cheaper competitors version I tried inthe past (and replaced 2-3 times). ... show more

Recently, it was damaged due to high winds here in Wisconsin. They helped replace the damaged parts and sent extra sand bags. Great customer service. Bought this canopy for my 5th wheel as the roof leaks. With the high winds we get 40- 60mph this babe stands strong and solid.. I bought 2 aluminum, 1 from Walmart for $99 and another one with side panel from a seller on here for $199 on here and both got destroyed.. I received this over a year ago. It was a few months before I installed it for my tractor. I'm in South Texas .The sun destroys more than rain or wind . I put it under some shade trees to keep UV at a minimum. I anchored it well. I now notice that the end that is exposed to the western sky is deteriorated at the peak of the roof . The bunge type cords also come off allowing the tarp to loosen . I now tie them . Its good for a short term only . Have your permanent solution in the works . ... show more
