This salt is fantastic. We love it. So I am not going to give the salt a poor rating. The shipping was the problem. The bag of salt we received had a slit in it. It was put into a paper shipping envelope, and then that was put into a plastic shipping envelope. Neither of the envelopes had slits in them. That means someone packaged a bag of salt that already had a slit in it and shipped it to us. The majority of the salt was still in the bag, but there was a good bit that spilled into the envelope. When you pay that much for quality salt, you don’t want to lose any of it. There is no option to return or replace. So I guess we are just stuck with it the way it is. I use this celtic sea salt for my cooking and baking, but also use it as a supplement by either putting it underneath my tongue or putting a pinch in my water. Both my dog and I take it as a supplement, and we’re both feeling better. Less joint pain for me, and my dog is able to rest better. We started giving my german shepherd this as a supplement when he was a puppy, because he would beg when I would put mine under my tongue. Read about this salt and all its greatness so thought I’d give it a shot. It’s good salt, doesn’t taste funny. The only qualms I have are that the grains are too large to sprinkle on food and much smaller than the typical grinding salt. The size is similar to the size of grits. Though if I want them fine I use my stone muddle grinder. Works fine. I’m sure you could pop them in a twist grinder too, just not sure if it’ll cake up in the grinder since it is a somewhat moist salt. Also, side note: this item took about a month to receive, it kept being delayed. Not sure if it’s mined to order but just letting you know.. Could also be my personal experience. But just in case, it could be a month before you receive this item. ... show more

I bought this because it’s suppose to be better than the other salts. It does taste better. I never had any health problems so I can’t say if this is really good for your health.

It took over a month to arrive but seller was kind to inform me that they're running out of stock. It was delivered to the date they provide. Enjoying it now. Had to put a pinch every morning and put under my tongue, wait to melt thrn followes with water.

I will never use table salt again! This salt has flavor and makes food taste extra special. Because of the trace minerals it is far more healthy then bleached and processed table salt.

I switched completely from pink Himalayan salt to Celtic salt because my body was not seeing the results needed with it. This bag lasts myself and my son about 3 months and we cook multiple times per day. I use it for everything. When I feel dehydrated I just touch my finger to water the sprinkle a bit of Celtic salt. Let it melt away in my mouth. Wait a bit then start drinking water. The salt helps the water get to your cellular level. It helps balance the kidneys water/sale intake for me and has reduced my leg swelling since using it. (Since My knee injury I’ve struggled for 2 yrs with major swelling.) it’s getting better. Slowly but takes time. Also been using organic castor oil on the cyst caused by the injury too. I really did not taste how potent this salt was until consuming it without food. It’s best to sprinkle it on after the food is cook I feel. Great product. Tons of minerals and not a horrible price. Sure it’s more than normal table salt but the benefits are priceless! ... show more
