For me, nothing distinctive about the taste compared to other salts but adds in appearance. This is good for steaks or other food where you're going to let the salt absorb in over time. Easy to grind with a salt or spice grinder to get to your desired size. While I haven't tried it, I also understand there are a claims of health benefits when using in a tub soak, etc. Overall, satisfied with this and will continue to use it.

There isn't a lot I can say about rock salt except that this one appears to be clean and it has a lovely color that looks great in a clear salt grinder or jar. The taste is obviously salty, but it is a relatively mellow saltiness compared to kosher salt. I also like that the bag is very sturdy so it stands up easily while it is open and the zip lock seal works well.

I love the color of this salt and how it adds something to my dishes. Tastes just like salt to me, nothing special, but the price is very fair. I also like having the option of thicker pieces with this product compared to regular table salt.

I just tried using Himalayan salt for bathing for the first time and it was a great experience. Unlike Epsom salt, this one is packed with minerals and helps reduce stress and muscle fatigue. After a long and stressful day at work, it's the perfect way to indulge and relax.

We've got all kinds of salts and peppers in our pantry. When I saw this Himalayan Pink Salt, I thought, that is one we haven't tried yet, so I ordered it. I think most unflavored, unenhanced, salts taste pretty much the same. This is versatile because I can use it in the coarse grind as it comes, or grind in it our mill and use it that way. The coarse grain adds a nice color to a dish, and the larger flakes make for a bolder salt taste. It punches up some otherwise bland foods. It's versatile, tastes good, and looks special.

I like to taste salt in my food and so this is a perfect choice for me. The grain is very coarse and large, like little pellets. I grind it a bit more before use and It blends perfectly in food though still large enough to really taste it. (You will need your own spice or salt grinder if you wish to grind it.) There is some multi-coloration, which is normal for Himalayan Pink salt, from almost ice-clear to a salmon-pink. I’m glad it comes in a resealable bag because it will take a while to use all of this and the bag prevents moisture from getting inside. At the current price of $4.99 for a pound bag, I think this is a tremendously good value. Great product at a great price.

This salt is ideally sized for my table grinder and with a full pound of salt in the bag, will last a long time. The value you get is competitive with my local grocery and I like the fact that it comes in a bag since I use a separate grinder- if you need a grinder, you will have to purchase separately as this salt is not milled fine enough for sprinkling. The size of the pieces is pretty consistent, so it is easy to load into the grinder reservoir. No dirt or foreign particles in the bag. Overall, I think this is a nice refill option for grinder salt.

This Soeos Himalayan Pink Salt is very reasonably priced. At the time of this review it is $4.99 for a 1 pound bag - that right there makes me a fan! This pink salt is not as salty and overpowering as some which is more appealing in that it will be easier to measure in recipes. It grinds very well in a dedicated grinder or in a mortar and pestle where you can more easily control the size of the grind. Good salt, great deal on a product that has been getting out of control on the market. Highly recommended.
