You just load some paint in with the syringe (you one syringe for each pen), then click the end until paint comes out of the brush. The brush is the perfect size for doing quick touchup. I've had these now for a couple of weeks and see no sign of the paint drying up. These clean up real easily if you are using latex paint. Just super handy to have around for those quick home touchups.

The tile guy smudged up the side of my cabinets, and I wanted to fix it. I had the paint but no brush, so I asked my beloved to get me a small brush. He got these instead to "save paint." We only had a small amount of paint left. I was very skeptical, but they worked beautifully!

The size and texture of the brush tip, the bristles, seem high quality and are perfect for correcting small errors on a cut-in edge. The instructions were unintelligible to me, but I eventually worked out how to do it. With proper cleaning these brushes should be reusable, although the string has “single use” printed on it. I assume that is for a medical application. Towards the end of my project I found myself just using it as a brush, and dipping it in the paint in the can, so I could have the benefit of the excellent brush and have a little more control of the paint loading.
