I have a water tester that a good friend gave me to test my water coming into the house an the after it go's thew the filter they were almost then same The filter is doing nothing. Then i put in my old PUR back in an tested the water it was 2 times lower then the new on. The aftermarket is no were as good as the original PUR filter. I will not buy them again. ... show more

These water filters work just as good as the name brand version! We've been using them for several months and never encountered any problems. Installation is the exact same as the name brand too, so no worries there. An excellent buy.

    • Good filter, but doesn't function great with higher water pressure.
This is a good, cheap PUR replacement filter. The water quality is good. But, they just aren't built to handle normal to high water pressure. Water spurts out of every crevice of the PUR if you turn the water on all the way. But, if you are a patient person and can handle a filling your glass slowly, these do just fine. People that walk over to the faucet and immediately turn it on all the way will hate these. ... show more
