  • A nice little heat press.
Color: Pink
I bought this product for pressing sublimation Tshirts. I had a much larger pressurized heat press, but after moving into a new apartment and downsizing, the size simply wasn’t practical for my amount of space. So I found myself looking for a slightly bigger dupe of the small Cricut machine. This one hasn’t given me any functionality issues, YET. It heats up quickly & accurately. Has a timer & vibrates so that the picture is spread evenly on shirt. I love the pink accents on the machine itself & also the cooling base included. The reason for the 4 stars is- now after some months, the plastic plate over the control panel is starting to come loose and almost peel off which might inevitably affect my pressing. Other than that, I’ve enjoyed this machine. I hope it stays in one piece because I would hate to spend this amount on another one. ... show more

  • They tried….update
Color: Red
Update: I have used this a few times and it works as expected. I’m not sure how the vibrating function is supposed to improve the sublimation or melting HTV, but ultimately I feel that the product works well especially for the price paid. ———- Just putting the base together and noticed that they sent a flat head screwdriver, but the screws are Phillips head. I also had to do some deburring on the base to get the parts to connect properly. All-in-all, I think it’s worth the $70 I paid and money I saved for not purchasing the big name brand heat press (“insect” brand) . the screw driver and screws Made me laugh. I haven’t even tried it out yet, so I will have to update. ... show more

  • White/black max temp 392 degrees. Base hard to put together.
Color: Black
I just got the press today. It feels sturdy to hold. Good size although I question the actual working space of the plate. I have yet to find out weather it is a true 12 x 10 area. I saw the Cricut Easy Press 2 at Hobby Lobby and it appears the Cricut version has a bigger base. I could be wrong, I've never turned the machine around as it was a display. It did heat up to the specified 392 degrees. I have to also question why 392, why not max out 400 degrees or 390? It seems odd. I can't complain on temperature though because this is the average temp I need for future projects using sublimation. So I'm happy with that. I timed the temp to max at about 7 minutes. I'm sure that's not too much of a problem since it's warming up on it's base. Wish it were faster since I'm thinking that I don't have a reason to keep it on during projects. The base is my biggest concern. It was a real pain to put together. It's not perfectly lined up to just "click" like the instructions state. I was able to force the pieces together by holding it up with pressure while screwing it in. I eventually got it done. Despite the problem with the base, I'm still happy with my purchase. I'll update if needed as I have yet to do a project. Note: I checked the conversion of 392 F to Celsius. It converts to 200 C. So I take it the company prefers Celsius over Fahrenheit. ... show more

  • Works great
Color: Red
Forget trying to use an iron for you transfers. This thing works great. I have a Silhouette Portrait, and it is perfect for my 8X11 tranfers.

  • Vibration Broke
Color: Pink
The vibration function broke very quickly and with little use. I've made less than 20 shirts in total with it so very light use. I bought it to do team shirts for my daughter in October 2021 (X Country and 8 shirts). Used it with great results, no issues. Pulled it out in May 2022 to do the track team shirts and the vibration function no longer worked. I thought maybe it was turned off so I pulled out the manual to put it back on. Nope, it just stopped working. It was stored in 70-72°F on a shelf in its box. With that said, the heat function still works. I liked the vibration frequency though so that's a real bummer. Now I wonder if the heat setting is even correct if the other function already broken. Update: I've accidentally dropped my press and it took flight down my stairs. I thought for sure it was a goner but surprisingly it still works wonderfully (still without vibration though) The base didn't make it through the fall. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised with a bonus laugh added
Color: Pink
I am thus far pleasantly surprised at how well this press works for me. The machine came as advertised (bought the pink and white one, the blue is a protective film that I haven't peeled yet). It was quick to heat to the required 150C I needed it to. The vibration seemed to give it a little more omph to the staying power vs. my home iron. The timer/buzzer was a nice touch as well. The shark was a quick shirt I did as a test run on my HTV stash (cheap 90 sheet variety pack from Amazon). Be prepared for the directions to either make no sense what-so ever or barely any sense after reading them 15 times. Key points: 1. Jam the base together with medium force, it was not an easy click; 2. Buttons your gonna have to play with them, I'm 100% sure they just put some words/pictures in the instructions and never looked back; 3. There are no screws regardless of what the instructions illustrate. The giggles came from the unexpected extra HTV designs they tossed in the box. It's safe to say these where not top of the line runs and English is not the designers first language. They are more or less salvageable with some trimming or left as a gag. A surprisingly decent soft white t-shirt (L) was also included. Overall, for $80 it totally serves my hobby needs. ... show more
