I've had this clamp for 3 months, only works about half the time. Sanding helps but not a guarantee that it'll work. It's too bad because it sure is handy when it's working.

This is a big clamp. If you work on chillers, this is great for checking discharge superheat on R series screws.

Clamp will not work properly after you open for bigger than 7/8 pipe, basically useless. Will be returning or exchanging for normal clamp

I'm a chiller tech. I got this and I'm very disappointed. the way this probe works is, it need good continuity from 1 side to the other to get a temp reading. I tend to work on equipment that's 20+ years. So i have to sand every pipe that i want a temp ready on. Ive used Fieldpeace produces for 20years and this has to be the worst Engineering design I've seen from Fieldpeace ... show more
