FIELD KING 190328 Professional No Leak Pump Backpack Sprayer does the work of a piston or diaphragm backpack sprayer. The exclusive internal No Leak Pump keeps your back and clothing dry. The paddles keep liquids, powders, and water-soluble solutions mixed, in solution, and ready to spray. Also the pump features Viton seals that can be easily changed within minutes without tools (up to 7x faster than the leading competitor). The premium shut-off offers a comfort grip, lockable trigger to prevent hand fatigue, and a removable in- line filter to reduce clogging. The FIELD KING 190328 Backpack Sprayer is capable of spraying up to 150 PSI - perfect for those hard-to-reach areas. The included pressure regulator maintains a low, continuous 25 PSI (great for spraying herbicides and weed killers). The tank has a built-in carry handle with wand storage. With adjustable padded straps, waist belt and chest cinch strap, the backpack ensures comfort while you work. Multiple nozzles are included for ultimate versatility: brass adjustable nozzle (enables stream to cone patterns), wide flat fan nozzle (red, 0.25 GPM, angled at 70°), narrow flat fan nozzle (yellow, 0.15 GPM, angled at 30°), high volume wide fan (brown), jet stream (orange) and foaming (black). This back pack sprayer is working very well. The adjustments and spraying styles are numerous and the ones I have used so far work very well. All the mechanisms are working well and is designed to easily replace parts if that becomes necessary. It is as comfortable as anything might be with between 2 and 4 gallons on your back. But the straps are padded and help quite a bit. I have gone through 1 season with no issues. I will update if any issues do crop up. Definitely recommending this sprayer. ... show more

I've been using this sprayer weekly for a few months now for weeds and it is working great so far. It's kind of a generic type sprayer that seems to be sold by several distributors under different names. I replaced an older version of this exact same sprayer under a different name that was failing... broken strap connectors, pump handle coming off, fluid leaking all over my back (not good), etc. I do not know how old or how well taken care of the replaced one is as it was inherited. I hope this new sprayer does not have the same issues. The sprayer nozzle puts out a nice pattern but uses a lot of product, even with the smallest orifice installed (reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars). I also use a Round-up brand sprayer that has a much nicer atomizer type nozzle and uses much less product. I doesn't have the spray distance however. I have 3 different size tank sprayers (1,2,3 gallon) and was tired of carrying them around the farm. We have a 300 ft barn lane and 400 ft drive with a half circle turn around with gravel surface. I use 6 gal of spray to keep weeds/grass out of drives. We have 3 pastures totaling 20 acres surrounded by woods and 26 acres of woods in a woodland management plan. I needed a sprayer that I could use to kill invasive species along the pasture edge and in the woods. This sprayer does the trick. It worked perfectly right out of the box. The wide mouth on the tank with a screen allows you to pour chemical easily into the sprayer and the screen catches anything that might fall into it. I was able to take water, chemical and sprayer in a trailer to the back of the property, mix it the field and spray the pastures edge. I used 11 gallon of chemical first time I used the sprayer and it worked great. No leaks, 5 or 6 pumps pressurizes the tank with excellent spray coverage. With the wand I can reach 10 ft high and the spray is another 3 ft so I can reach places I couldn't reach with the hand held sprayers. Having the sprayer on your back is much easier than carrying around a tank and having to stop to pump 12 or 15 times to keep good pressure. I thought I would use more chemical due to the excellent spray coverage but I was pleasantly surprised that I used less chemical than before. I was able to spray about 1000 ft of pasture edge with the 11 gallons of spray. We have serious problems with Chinese bittersweet, grapevine and privet so I use Crossbow in the sprayer. Clean up was easy, the filter on the wand is easy to get to, the nozzle is easy to remove. The one thing I can't use it for is walking thru brush to get to invasive plants that are well hidden but I knew that before I bought this sprayer. With a tank full of spray on your back it is hard to maneuver in close quarters. If you are looking for a good sprayer, at a fair price that does the job intended then look no further than this sprayer. It is well worth the investment. One caveat is that any piece of equipment is only has good as the maintenance so I would encourage you to clean after every use, use vaseline on the o-rings and take care of the equipment you purchase. ... show more
