First off, keep in mind that this is a 24 toy calendar so that averages to about 80-90 cents per toy at the price I paid for the calendar. I note this as some reviews seem to be disappointed at the type of toys included and want to start off by saying for sub-$1 per toy we got what we expected. If you want higher value toys, they are available but definitely not at this price point. Our family has a tradition of advent calendars for the parents and kids each year and enjoy the fun of a new small item each morning from the 1st of December until Christmas eve. Over the years, my now 12 year old daughter has had calendars themed on Lego, slime, stickers, putty, elves, trolls and more. This year, she wanted an advent calendar with a variety of small fidget type toys and really liked what was offered in this set. We are currently 16 days into the calendar and she has been really pleased with the variety she has gotten. The toys are similar to what you might get from a place where you play games for tickets and then redeem them for small prizes (i.e., Pizza Ranch game zone). What you see in the Amazon listing images are true to what is in the calendar. Some days are more exciting than others, but all are geared to be fun little toys to fidget with. Overall, this is a fun advent calendar as long as you are realistic about what to expect from the set.

This is a GREAT calendar especially for those kiddos that don't already have a lot of sensory items. The selection is creative and my daughter loved it. Having everything in boxes made it way easier to keep the whole calendar intact during the month...we would turn the opened boxes around so we knew which ones weren't open yet, and it kept things from falling all over the place. Even though she had many of the items, there were still a few surprises and she enjoyed it overall. Probably best for tween and younger

First of all I bought this for a pre teen & teen just for silly fun. Many of the slots had 2 fidgets which is great for 2 kids. I had them take turns so a few were individual, but many were shared😀 The fidgets were all(surprisingly)great quality and fun to play with. Would absolutely recommend!

Got this for my 14-year old who loves fidget toys. There are a few in here that he likes, but for the most part they’re simply cheap little toys like you’d get out of a gumball machine. He likes opening a new one each day, but most of them probably won’t be kept past Christmas.

This set is actually really great. Nicely made toys and variety. My 13 yr old son loved it. Worth more than what I paid. Bonus is the mini boxes set it comes in. I’m going to reuse it next year and fill each box myself with whatever.

Over all the idea is cool and opening a gift everyday was fun. BUT some of the toys were broken upon opening which was disappointing and others broke within minutes. That being said there were a few really fun puzzles but I don’t think I would purchase the same box.
