For those of us with limited propogation space and funds, these boxes are great. The lights are just enough to promote growth. Tge cells are just big enough for 1 seed per, and the whole set-up could fit atop your fridge if it needed to. Only thing missing is a heat mat! The cells, are, however, too small for any cucurbits to start in, or anything with a deep taproot. Cucurbits and deep taproot plants do not like root disturbance once started, and the uppotting from tgese cells to bigger cells could cause cucurbits and taproot plant beebees to die or get stunted. Only start things that can reliably uppot in these cells. That's nightshades, brassicas, some flowers, other greens. You will need a heat source for anything other than greens, because these lights don't really emit heat. But, I really do love these propboxes for compact, all-in-one propogation setup.

This inexpensive set enables amazing control over the environment of your seedlings, from planting to light to moisture. Once you have a sprout it's fairly simple to pop it out and plant in your garden. Everything is simple and well built. Works great.

I canโt wait to use this to plant seeds so I have starters in the spring! It even came with a few tools, labeling sticks, and a marker to write with. I highly recommend for anybody wanting to get a jump on spring gardens.
