The top button is a real button but all others, you are unable to unhook them; they are sewn into place. This is good for bustier women who constantly have to pull at your chest to close the button gaps. Pleasantly surprised with the fit and quality of this sweater dress. I am very petite and typically order a size up because I don’t want a real body-con look so happy with the medium. The fabric is heavier than it looks so this is a definite winter dress for Texas, but some of you in cooler climates can take it out as soon as Starbucks begins pumpkin spice season. 😄 For fit reference, I am not quite 5’1” so it leans more toward almost maxi than midi for the petite gals. Given I sized up, I would say that it probably runs true to size fr those who want a more snug fit.

This dress, which I ordered in black, is incredibly comfortable. It has a nice stretch and flexibility, but if I had chosen a different color I think it might reveal more of my figure than I'd like due to its stretchiness; even with the black I might look into a body shaper for a sleeker appearance. The buttons are securely attached, and the buttonholes are well-stitched. The collar is soft, and I experienced no irritation. I usually wear a medium, and it fits true to size.

I don’t think my pictures do the dress justice. The dress is shaped so it winches the waist just a tad so it doesn’t make you look like a frumpy box. I could live in this thing. It is very comfortable and makes me feel like a put together woman. I am a size small and I got a size small. It does fit very well but I kind of want them to come out with a XS as well . I want one in every color. It is very sophisticated.

This dress is made of a soft knitted material. The material will not scratch you or cause you to itch. It is a nice tight weave so it is not see-through and it is medium weight. It has a classic fall appearance. It is true to fit so you don’t have to size up or down. It washes nicely on delicate in the washing machine, and I lay it flat to dry. I’ve had no problems of stretching or it being out of shape. The stitching is a thin stitching, so there will be no unraveling of this material. it is very well priced for the quality of this garment.

There’s no loose thread or buttons. The buttons in front are not functional except for one button at the top. Easy to get on and off. This dress is a sleek and warm option for the cooler months.
