  • Helped with a problem connecting a tool to the 27mm hose.
The opening of the newer 27mm hoses isn't perfectly round. This caused a bit of trouble trying to connect one of my tools with the smaller dust port. The opening on this adapter is perfectly round and made connecting the tool easier when I changed to a 36mm hose.

  • Easy to use Adapter
This adapter allows you to use a 36mm Festool dust extractor hose with smaller tools, such as the OF 1010 router. It is easy to install and remove, and doesn't leak air. I keep mine on the tool tray on the dust extractor, so it is readily accessible.

  • This fixed my inability to connect my festool vacuum larger hose to smaller tools.
It does the job. The hoses don't fit universally with all tools and the vacuums don't automatically come with adapters. If you have the larger hose, then this adapter will adjust sizing and allow things to work.

  • Great adapter for multiple tools
This fits my 48 AC and enables me to use my sanders and jigsaws with ease.

  • It's a Festool :)
Well pick up a 37 mm hose but it did not fit some of my tools this did the job.

  • A must have if you buy the larger hose
i opted to buy the larger diameter Festool replacement hose for my vac. i liked it better for cleaning up, the debris doesn't get stuck. But...you must have this adapter to hook to the tools. it's a little clunkier given the diameter of the hose plus the adapter but it's a trade off at cleanup

  • It's Impossible to Figure Out What FesTool Accessories You Need
I bought this because I thought the cleaning accessories kits available for the Festools CT-15, a mini shop vac, were all 36mm diameter -- whereas the hose included with the CT-15 is given as 27mm diameter. So I bought this as an "adapter" between the 27mm hose and a perceived 36mm accessory cleaning kit. I also bought the Festools #203428 cleaning accessory kit, listed as 27/36mm diameter, thinking that it is really 36mm diameter, and that I needed this #768135 adapter to fit it up to my 27mm hose which came with the CT-15. Amazingly, stupendously, the #203428 cleaning kit IS 27mm diameter and interfaces seamlessly with my 27mm Festools hose! So the #768135 adapter is NOT necessary. THERE IS NOTHING ON THE FESTOOLS WEBSITE NOR IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS THAT EXPLAINS WHAT "ACCESSORY CLEANING KIT" ACTUALLY MATCHES THE CT-15 27mm HOSE SUPPLIED WITH THE CT-15 "DUST EXTRACTOR." Thus, mere mortal people like me are left to GUESS what accessories are required to make the CT-15 a complete, working system. I TOTALLY lucked out ordering the #203428 accessory kit; there is NOTHING from Festools nor its resellers that explains what accessory kit *actually matches* the hose supplied with the CT-15. Festools, are you listening? I hope the other mere mortals out there benefit from this rant! ... show more

  • Lousy
I bought this Because my 6” sander it paired with the large vacuum. It’s 2 pieces one rubber and one plastic rhat don’t stay together that well. For shop work it might be ok if your gentle. But this will not hold up 2 seconds on the job. Absolute disappointment. I will rerun and need to buy a complete new hose. Festool has dropped the ball on this one ... show more
