  • Pedal didn't work
Color: FEP300 Semi-Weighted Digital Piano Brown
Seems like a good product, but the sustain pedal did not work. However, they replaced it and it works well. A couple keys are more sensitive than others, but for the price it’s a good keyboard that I enjoy playing. It’s best to plug into an amp.

  • The Fesley weighted Piano keyboard is as good as advertise!
Color: FEP300X with Stand Brown
If you're looking for a full-sized 88-key electronic piano; you needn't look much further than the Fesley. After looking for a Christmas present for my wife, who wanted to get back into playing the piano., and with so many options to consider, especially for a non-musically inclined person, the challenge was daunting. I started comparing over 30 product specifications, purely on "eye-appeal", then by reading over a hundred reviews. I cut it down to a dozen choices. Most of the choices were the "traditional-looking" electronic keyboards. They all checked-off the boxes on sound, weighted keys, etc. Then there was the Fesley, that looked so good on "eye appeal". With a beautiful wood-grained exterior and solid reviews from its users, my main concern was the price. Could a quality item be priced so inexpensively? I banked on Amazon's solid return policy and decided to give it a try. After taking an hour or so, setting up the piano, I was so pleased at how it looked and so disappointed with what appeared to be a "rattling sound" coming from the it once I plugged it in. Not wanting to give-up so quickly, i contacted Fesley's customer service department who responded within a day and asked for a recording to determine the sound and cause; which I complied, not expecting much in getting it fixed. To my surprise, they recommended replacing and paid for a new 6V power adaptor as the possible cause. I installed the new adaptor, and the "rattling" sound was gone. To double check, I installed the old power adaptor, and the "rattling" came back immediately. I was speechless, but extremely happy. Here's an example of exemplary customer service. A representative, who believes in their product, asked for the right information for their team of figure out the problem, didn't hesitate to solve it, and making it easy for me to do so. My wife it thrilled with how it looks and now how it sounds! That was enough for me to endorse the product! ... show more

  • An upgrade to my sound and playing experience
This purchase is an upgrade from my smaller keyboard that only had 61 keys. And those keys were sort of narrow. The old one worked fine for back then. This new one is absolutely superb! Keep in mind, I'm a new budding pianist that has recently upgraded to this fake baby grand from that little guy, so my opinion may be biased towards the positive. I spend lots more time at the piano now, and when I'm away doing other things, I spend that time thinking about getting back to the piano. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. Now, on to the specifics... As was already mentioned, the keyboard has 88 keys, just like a regular piano. And each key is the same width as those on a baby grand or regular piano. The keys are nicely weighted so the touch and playing experience is super enjoyable. The sound increases and decreases with the force of touch on each key just as a regular piano does. Notwithstanding, there is a volume control, but that is another thing completely. The unit comes with a plug-in pedal feature that I use regularly. It hasn't stopped working for me yet, although I have heard that the sustain pedal, in particular, tends to eventually fail when it comes to electric keyboards. Fingers crossed. I regularly use the provided headphones because I have neighbors and don't want to disturb them at any random time of day or night when I decide I'd like to try a scale or two. It's really a game changer. I've been trying out the record function over the past week and it has allowed me to hear what my playing sounds like to outsiders. I've used this function to do some self critique and found that my playing was a bit choppy and certain combinations of keystrokes found my left and right hands uncoordinated. Imagine hitting the bottom notes a split second after hitting the top notes!?!?! Hurmph, why, I never!?!? *Clutches pearls!* More practice more practice more practice. Which brings me to the metronome feature... The metronome is difficult to find, but once you do find it, you'll have trouble changing it's pace. I haven't figured out how to slow it down yet, but hey, who says you can't learn to play a new song quickly. So, seriously that's my only negative about this keyboard yet. The metronome feature and the instructions on how to find it and use it. So overall, this was a good buy. I'm glad I did it. ... show more

  • Great looking Keyboard
Color: FEP300 Semi-Weighted Digital Piano Brown
I have been playing piano for a long time and have always wanted a piano in my home. Our space it limited and so I decided a keyboard would be alright. The sleek look is what drew me to it first. It’s of very nice quality. The size it nice as I wanted a full size keyboard. It’s easy to use and my kids and I like it mostly because you can wear headphones to practice. The volume control is especially nice as well. When I want to play at night, volume level 2 is still loud enough for me to hear, but quiet enough for the kids to go to sleep. I like that it came with a sustaining pedal. You do need to remember that this is a keyboard, so when playing more difficult songs it will not let more than 5-6 sounds play at a time. This was disappointing to me, but again this is a keyboard and not a piano. Great value for the money paid and my kids are starting to want to learn piano and play around on the keyboard. ... show more
