We ordered these life jackets to keep on the boat for our six year old and her friend. They aren’t crazy bulky and stores well. Our daughter just barely made it with the recommended weight minimum and the jacket still adjusted to fit her well. When she got into the water, the back of the life jacket sort of raises up which she loved because it helped her to keep her head out of the water and supported. I was tubing on a lake and got flipped off and scorpioned into the water. Aftermath was a concussion, and I don’t think I would’ve been able to stay afloat if it wasn’t for this life jacket. Also avoid wearing skimpy bikini tops with this while tubing as you might flash somebody.

It was too roomy up top for me to be hanging out in the water (it would ride up) so I reordered a different colored woman’s Airhead jacket, the pink with zebra stripes, in a Med and it was perfect. I like the bright colors so I’m easily seen when paddle boarding this summer. I did want to note I’m 5’10 and 200lbs and the XL jacket is snug to zip for others looking to buy. So they do run small. I am 5'7" and 225lbs. I wear an XL t-shirt but got this lifejacket in 3X. So glad I did. It fits slightly snug when zipped but it is stretchy. I like everything else about the product.
