  • Fesley Guitars
Color: FST400M-Green
This makes my 5th Fesley guitar.... I have enjoyed them all so far... This one has been the best "bang for the buck"! It really didn't need anything right out of the box.... I did fine tune the intonations and lower the action a bit.... This thing plays and sounds great.... The quality and sound of this guitar is better than some that cost much more..... It would remind you of a Charvel.... Its definitely worth a try.... It would definitely be a great starter guitar or even for the advance player..... I wish Fesley would send me my 6th guitar for free.......lol... Love these guitars ... show more

  • My 3rd Fesley
This is my second Fesley through Amazon. I picked up another HSS on Marketplace for owning 3. The matt Sunburst finish looks great(a bit susceptible to finger prints) and the neck is straight with level frets. Just some end dressing is all that's needed. The controls and switch work well and the pickups sound good, too. This is a good value but considering there was a coupon with it brining the price down to $109.+ is an incredible bargain. ... show more

  • Best Budget Guitar
Color: FST400M-Gray
I have been trying to get back into playing the guitar for a long time now. I started at a young age and progressively became more skilled up until my teenage years, but a lot has changed with life, which has given me no time to focus on any guitar playing at all. I had my old guitar in its case still, but I was running into problems with that guitar, which left me guitar-less. This was around the time I was starting to get back into playing the guitar again. With how difficult it is with the economy right now, it’s pretty crazy paying a lot for a good guitar. You figure a $500 one would be good enough for the price and quality, but you still can’t afford it. I’ve been digging a lot, and I came across this guitar brand, Fesley. Trust me, at first, I was a little skeptical. $128 for a guitar? Cheap prices for all their instruments? Yeah right! That’s what I thought. I looked up some videos about the brand, and a lot of big guitar promoters on YouTube have said a lot of positive things about this brand. So I figured why not? I ordered it, came in two days. Right off the bat, the packaging was very nice. As I opened into the box and got to the duffel bag, I was very impressed with the quality. I was also very impressed with how they give you a guitar cable, a guitar strap, a tuner, guitar pics, and a whammy bar. All of that for $128? That’s a bargain. Now to the guitar. PROS: - I really like how they took the time to wrap and seal the guitar as best as they could to keep it protected from chips and scratches. They most definitely nailed the protection for the shipping. Right off the bat as I unwrapped the packaging, I could tell the guitar was in good quality. The guitar overall is very light and it sits well on your lap when you’re practicing. The body, neck, frets, pickups, knobs, pick up switch, tuner, and the bridge were outstanding. There were a lot of common issues with the frets from what I have read through Amazon’s reviewers, but I never, and still do not have issues with them at all. They’re polished down perfectly and they have no exposed ends to cause finger/hand cuts. I am super impressed with the quality of the overall guitar. - As far as playing, it sounds very good. The guitar stays in tune very well and I have no issues having to re-tune it. The pick ups are definitely on the basic quality wise, but they still make your guitar sound good for those metal heads out there wanting to make their guitars squeal. The neck is very smooth, yet it has a nice little matte finish. It’s the perfect amount of grip for playing. *I am not going to lie, this sounds better than most $500 guitars, but I’m not gonna get into that lol.* CONS: - The only thing I noticed about the guitar was on the paint on the body near the pick ups. Overall, the paint looks great as I got it, but there was always a spot near the pick ups that has a very noticeable blemish when shined on. I’m not going to lie, it is a little nuisance, but I’m not going to trip out about it because my hand is usually covering that spot anyways. - The pickup switch cap fell off and I have no idea where it went lmao. It’s not a big deal though cause it is isn’t a vital component to the guitar. Conclusion With that being said, I believe this is the best affordable guitar out there right now. Yes, there may be imperfections like with mine. Yes, you’re gonna get those people that tell you “you get what you pay for”. But you know what, for the price, the goodies, the sound, & the quality, that’s a bargain. I’m quite surprised these guitars weren’t a little bit more in pricing. Fesley, you definitely have impressed me. Thank you for a great sounding and affordable guitar! ... show more

  • Good starter instrument
I didnt expect to be writing this about an off brand guitar, but wow! For the price, its a good deal. Sounds decent enough, decent playability, good deal. Perfect starter guitar. No Gibson, but itll at least give you a chance to try out the guitar.

  • 5 stars with minor critiques
I am giving this 5 stars but with a couple minor critiques. 5 stars because they are my critiques. For a beginner or mid level player this might be the best guitar out there. And for the price it's a no brainer. As for the critiques it just has to do with the frets needing a level due to some high frets. If you're experienced in fixing guitars or even just learning like me, this is an easy fix. If you're a beginner guitar player it really won't impact your sound as the frets being uneven in a couple spots won't come through in an amplified sound. Pickups - the pickups could be more powerful in my opinion. I'm use to 14k with alnico 5 magnets. I'm assuming these are alnico 2 and right around 8 or 9k. To me they are similar to a evh wolfgang. I will most likely switch out the humbucker. The neck on this is awesome. It plays smooth and fast and I love the dark look on the fretboard and the inlays are pretty cool. Knobs are tight with no slipping. Stays in tune, although I will probably switch out the plastic nut for a graphtech bone nut. Strings were ok. Cable is good quality and gig bag is a real good one. The finish is what sold me. It's mostly black but with a gray tint to it. Kind of reminds me of charcoal. I can't put this guitar down. It really is a great guitar. So much so that I have the sunburst LP in my cart and eventually will order it and put a review on one of my channels. Definitely recommend Fesley. ** UPDATE ** I ended up sending this back because after a fret rock there was a pretty low fret. ... show more
