    • Best juicer I've owned
This Rösle citrus juicer is very well-made. Like many other reviewers, I wanted to avoid plastic. I've owned glass juicers and they work quite well, but they're heavy and I can imagine breaking yet another one since I tuck my juicer out of the way. Most metal juicers are flimsy and contain sharp edges. They can bend far too easily under normal use and risk collapsing which could further amplify the risks from the sharp edges. For me, I use a juicer mostly while cooking rather than for drinks so I typically use it no more than twice per week. The juicer's top is sturdy and can be used to juice limes, lemons, and oranges. While I've not tried it for grapefruit, I'm sure it will be suitable. The cone also is not sharp and poses no danger, but is very effective at juice extraction. The top has a polished edge all around that is not sharp at all and couldn't possibly cut me. The top has also been great at keeping out seeds and excess pulp. There is subtle curve that makes the tab along the top easy to grasp, and holding it makes it easy to prevent the top from rotating while twisting your fruit with your other hand. The top sits very nicely in the bottom. While it doesn't lock into place (not aware of any brand that does), it will not wobble or rattle. It might rotate when you're twisting, but the tab solves that. The bottom is a lovely, heavy-grade bowl. It's got a heavy bottom and some nice markings inside to help you monitor juicing progress. While I wish the bowl had a spout for better directed pouring, the bowl won't dribble when you pour due to the great machining along the contour of the polished rim. The overall size is great if you're juicing a few fruits at once and it's not too big — at least for my preference. The size was as noted. The company has been around since 1888 per the box, but this was my first encounter. As with other nice things for your kitchen, this isn't cheap but it will outlast multiple cheaper products, function much better, and be safer for full-press juicing. ... show more

This 18/10 stainless juice reamer is great as a reamer but it has also found a place in our kitchen as the perfect size garage bowl when peeling garlic, onions, topping strawberries, egg shells, or whisking a quick dressing. It easily fits nicely in the dishwasher. I almost think the reaper piece is a second perk to this great bowl. ... show more

    • Functional object with a sturdy design
The picture is reflecting reality: this is a beautiful object made of the purest stainless steel. I love it, it works so well. I spent years to find the perfect fruit juicer and here it is. I hesitated because of the price, but sincerely it is the best purchase I have made since a very long time.
