I love flashlights and this is a great one. These are very powerful flashlights that fit easily in the hand, and do not require fumbling around to find the two control buttons, as both are in the end cap, are large and easily distinguished . The two button arrangement makes it very easy to turn on and select the power level you want. The two lowest powers are both useful and do not seem to drain the battery very quickly. We live in an area with many animals, and the higher powers pick up reflections from eyes in the forest if you hold the device close to your own eyes. The highest power is stunning, but caution is needed. It would be dangerous store this device in a way the buttons might accidentally be pushed, and not be noticed, such as in a backpack. At high power, a great deal of heat is generated very quickly, and I have little doubt that it could damage plastics or paper next to the light if left on for more than a few seconds. The USB C charging connection is very convenient. It charges surprisingly fast. The rubber cover for the charging port seems a bit fragile, but I have had no problems with it so far. The belt holster is necessary and adequate. I would not carry the device in a pants pocket. ... show more

Sorry for the clickbait headline. When I first turned on, I noticed this flashlight was not as bright as a similar one I bought for a third the price. I thought right then that I would be returning- then I started to test it out and I noticed a few things. -Extremely well made. The tolerances in manufacturing have to be super low because the whole thing is machined so well. The end cap screws on with zero resistance, like Teflon. The haptics are very solid. -The battery inside is quality. Double the mah/capacity of the less expensive flashlight I mentioned. - It does get hotter than my old flashlight in the brightest mode, but that's because the case is thicker and is storing more heat.     • Amazing even after hard use
This flashlight does not disappoint. I repair and maintain a brick manufacturing facility, and this flashlight has seen some things in my possession. Three weeks ago I dropped it in dirty, greasy, hydraulic fluid spill, as in all the way in, submerged in it while it was on and I pulled it out and continued to do my job because of this light.     • Absolutely, stupidly wonderful strobe.
So I went after this light for the strobe effect and I am not disappointed in the slightest. I work security at a haunted attraction and this makes for both a fantastic tool, scare prop, and threat deterrent. This light is literally blinding at close range and the strobe varies from 8hz to 15hz (visual approximate), but is much brighter at the slower speed. Stepping up to full power is a great feature. So if you are just looking under the bed and only need a normal flashlight power you can set it on low. Full power is very bright; much like a car headlight. You can light up a good portion of your neighborhood on high.

This design allows you to charge without opening up flashlight, which is exactly what I wanted. It casts light at least 50 yards ahead.

This is a very high powered flashlight. I’m a real estate agent and purchased this to look in attics and crawlspaces. Works well but it gets suuuuper hot. You can’t have it on long.

    • Bright! Bright!! BRIGHT!!!
This flashlight is AMAZING!!! I use it for work offshore on the platforms and I couldn’t be happier. Lightweight. Portable. Extremely Bright. Even pretty bright on its lowest setting. This thing will light paper on fire if you really wanted it to, so be careful.
