This flashlight is extremely well made. It puts out more light than I could have imagined. It does heat up a bit at full power but the battery lasts many days before I have to charge it.     • Don't use for long use. Gets Hot!
Great flashlight! But only if you use if in short spurts. This happens to work for me and my uses, but the flashlight heats up fairly quickly. Other than this issue, it is a great product!

In this photo my surveillance camera catches the bear in the very back coming toward her cub on the fence. She is lit up that brilliantly because I was holding this flashlight. It is an amazing product and I’m very glad I spent the money on it. My lights on the hillside may have helped some, but this lets me know quickly what I’m up against. ... show more

When I opened the parcel, the top of the Fenix box was torn, showing it had already been opened. According to the list on the back of the box, it should contain the flashlight, a Li-ion battery, a clip, a cable, a warranty card, a lanyard and a holster. These were all inside. But it should also contain a spare O-ring, a user manual, insulation film, a reminder tag and an information leaflet. None of these were inside. When I went to attach the lanyard, I found the case had been damaged, exposing the metal and leaving a sharp edge that will have to be sanded down. Looking closer, I found two more abrasions along the torch in a straight line, so perhaps it was dropped or crushed under something hard and heavy. It seems like an excellent flashlight. I'm disappointed that I was sent a clearly damaged item in an incomplete pack. It doesn't exactly breed trust. ... show more

If you want a high quality light for EDC and don't mind spending a little more, this will work great for you. As with other purchases, I am not trying to save a couple of bucks and maybe getting questionable quality. This is a good light and you won't disappointed.     • Great battery life but....
Very versatile light. I love that the on/off is separate from the selector switch. The battery life is pretty sweet. Charging port cover is a little tricky to manipulate but ok. My only complaint is that you cannot stand it up on end because of the on/off switch. After owning this flashlight for a year I have had some issues with it. 6 months in it would no longer charge and I had to send it off to be repaired. It took months to get it back and then it work for a few more months and stopped charging again. Having it repaired is a hassle and depending on what vender you get it from determines who handles your warranty. I don't feel like doing it again so I just bought another brand light. The battery is not as good and it's not as bright but it cost a third of what this one costs. ... show more
